Level-up! Games Job Opportunities: Operations Department (ICT & Support)

This is the continuation of my previous post on the various job openings we have here at Level-up! Games. Again, let me pose this challenge to everyone with the online gaming itch. If you think you know better and you want to make a career out of online gaming, then this is the time to join the industry. Make a difference. Job openings for IT, Game Support, and other operations-related jobs after the jump!

1.) CUSTOMER SUPPORT AGENTS
The Customer Service Agents serve as the direct point of contact for customers. They are responsible for ensuring that customers receive adequate level of service or help with their questions and concerns. Customers may be individuals or other companies.

Qualifications
• Minimum of 6 months of Customer Service experience in a call center preferably in providing email support
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Strong organizational and customer service skills
• Proficiency with MS Office applications
• Team player and customer service oriented
• Creative and with a positive attitude

2.) PHP PROGRAMMER
The PHP Programmer has to work on internal and external IT solutions and website development. The ideal candidate for this role would be expected to plan, research, develop logic, code, and test and deploy several Web projects with minimal assistance. He/She should know how to build a PHP web application from the ground up, as well as modify and build on existing code.

Technical Skills Set
• Advanced understanding of the PHP programming language, HTML, Cascading Style Sheets, JavaScript and MySQL
• Good understanding of object oriented programming and programming principles.
• Comprehensive understanding of XML, XHTML, Linux, Apache
• Background in .NET / C# is a big plus
• Experienced in Microsoft SQL Server 2000 (or better)
• Has experience debugging code.
• Can write code from pseudo code or verbal instructions.

Other Requirements:
• Male or Female, not more than 35 years old
• Graduate of Information Technology or any IT related course
• Proactive and highly analytical
• With good interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
• With ability to apply the most applicable technologies to craft effective solutions
• Lateral and self-motivated thinking
• With ability to document solutions
• Must be a team player
• Self-disciplined and has a good attitude

3.) SR. APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER
The Sr. Applications Developer has to work on internal and external IT solutions and website development. He`/She will be expected to plan, research, develop logic, code, test and deploy several Web projects with minimal assistance. He`/She must be knowledgeable to build web application from the ground up using .NET, as well as modify and build on existing code.

Technical Skills Set
• 3+ years of development on ASP.NET
• 2+ years experience with C#
• Any middleware development experience is a HUGE plus
• Experience working on SQL Server 2000/2005
• Comprehensive understanding of JAVA, PHP, MySQL, XML, XHTML, Linux, Apache
• Has experience debugging code
• Can write code from pseudo code or verbal instructions

Other Requirements:
• Male or Female, not more than 35 years old
• Graduate of Information Technology or any IT related course
• Proactive and highly analytical
• With good interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
• With the ability to apply the most applicable technologies to craft effective solutions
• Lateral and self-motivated thinking
• With the ability to document solutions
• Must be a team player
• Self-disciplined and has a good attitude

4.) PROJECT OFFICER
Project Officer’s overall role & responsibility is to ensure the projects that are developed within Level Up! and with third party providers are developed within time, budget and specification.

Qualifications:
• Must have knowledge on good methodology and standard
• Must have IT background, knowledgeable in systems integration and applications development
• With at least 1 year experience in the same field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have good time management skills
• Must have good leadership qualities, and be able to make sound judgment
• Must have good English writing skills
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure

5.) ICT / DESKTOP SUPPORT ENGINEER
Primary role is to guarantee the 24×7 delivery/availability of all ICT services and applications, particularly by solving all ICT-related problems the quickest time possible.

Requirements:
• Graduate of a 4 year course preferably Information Technology related course
• Must be proficient with the use of computers
• Preferably with at least 1 year experience in similar field
• Familiar with hardware and software troubleshooting, system, network and database administration
• Familiar with Microsoft’s various technology/applications; preferably with background on Linux
• With good oral and written communication skills
• Willing to work on shifting schedules
• Must be a team player

Responsibilities:
• Immediate resolution of the technical problems/concern to maintain 99.95% service uptime
• Resourcefulness to solve various technical concerns/problems within the acceptable turn-around time
• Timely accomplishment of assigned tasks and projects
• Quality of assistance provided to the systems development team
• Compliance to the documented daily scheduled job/processes
• Completeness of problem documentation/logging
• Compliance to the implementation plan of various projects
• Compliance to the security guidance in order to protect and maintain the integrity and accuracy of corporate/ or game-related data and information

  13. I’ve been working in a call center for a US based company that sells office equipment for the past year and a half. My job involves customer support, technical support and software support for their products through the phone with a bit of sales if the customer wants to buy something directly from the company. I absolutely don’t have any experience with e-mail support. I’ll send in my resume and apply for the Customer Support Agent position.

    @Wauks: What do you think my chances are of landing that job?

  15. To all those who are interested, just send in your resumes even if you think you don’t match all the requirements. There’s nothing to lose and much anyway, right? ^^; With regards to compensation, the pay is okay. Don’t expect multinational FMCG salaries though.

Linux po b gamit nyo? bkit laging may required na background sa Linux? sayang di p ko pwede, magaling p nman daw ako sa Java, JavaScript, C languages. kaso nxt yr p ko ggraduate eh. tinatanong nga ko ng prof ko kung graduating na ko kc may job oportunities din samin para sa graduating eh 35k ang initial wage weee

    sana when you hire you guys do a really in depth Profesional profile on who you hire.
    Last that you would need is a person who may be qualified but have other agendas in mind
