After keeping the gaming community guessing for weeks, Level Up has finally unveiled their latest FPS title which will soon launch in the Philippines – KOS Secret Operations, also known as Sting Online in the US. The game was developed by YNK, the same people who brought you the smash hit MMORPG, Rohan Online.

Here’s the official statement from the KOS site:

K.O.S.: Secret Operations, the latest offering of Level Up! Games, is a free-to-play, online first person shooter game, powered by Valve’s Source engine.

Aside from the intense and realistic graphics, there are various features that give new dimension to your FPS gaming. Outfit your character with different weapons, uniforms and special abilities, and then create clans with friends to test your skills against others while tracking your progress with the ranking system.
Use Medpacks, decrease your respawn time and even track your enemy with an assorted list of special skills and abilities, and earn extra experience through our multikill system by getting up to 10 kills in a row.

Play against our artificially intelligent KOSbots for quick games, or enter Pro Mode and put your (in-game) money where your mouth is.

Watch out for this extraordinary FPS, and keep checking this site for updates on our upcoming Closed Beta. You can also register for a forum account so you can interact with other KOS fans.

I did some initial searches on videos on this game and here’s what I came up with for your viewing pleasure:

According to the reviews, the game really plays a lot like Counter Strike. The main difference is that the graphics and the animation quality have all increased tremendously. I’m sure that this game will take the country by storm especially since we have a lot of FPS fans here in the Philippines.

See you all online at KOS!

Oh my god, Operation 7 may have somewhat sleek weapon customization system, but this one? Almost anything’s customizable!

Wow.. im impressed with level up!. This is the 1st true world class mmo that they’ve release since ragnarok and RF. Way to go! Much better than all the crap FPS we have now with other game publishers.

this game is like a merging of 2 games called counter strike and call of duty: modern warfare… I played this game in the LU Live 2009 (because im a staff ), the counter strike feeling is there, and the graphics and movement is from COD

      @deathpox

the graphics is like cod4? are you serious? what kind of video card do you have anyway? maybe you had it on low settings?

either way, i just hope that this game doesn’t get plagued by kids cheating to get their frags up. most fps shooters suffer from some sort of wallhacks, aimbots, or what have you.

hope the GM team stays vigilant to keep the gameplay fair and intact.^^

If it was build on Valve engine like what CS and half life is using then I’m sure a wall hack is not something new.

I really don’t care much about the gfx, i’t will be better to have it bugged proof. That really makes FPS games quite boring.

And I hope it’s a fast pace game.

How can you swallow this shite?

All of these games are made by the same Koreans and are boring as crap.

Why would you care about this repetitive garbage. Buy a real game for god’s sake.

I’ve tried SF and Crossfire… KOS rocks bcoz of the fast paced action, you dont have to repair ur gun and most of all… the game is not yet full of cheaters!!!! I feel much more relieved when my char. gets killed in KOS bcoz i know the who killed me is skilled, unlike in SF, they are all cheaters!!!!!!!
