Korea Ragnarok Online 2 March 26 Update
MMOSITE, my favorite MMORPG resource website, recently released an update on the highly anticipated MMORPG Ragnarok Online 2. Yes, you read that right - there’s an update for Ragnarok Online 2! Gravity recently did some major changes which is in line with their committment to their partners to make sure that Ragnarok Online 2 will become a world class game that can rival World of Warcraft (yabang ampf, hehe).
The major changes for the March 26 update are as follows:
1. New Nunlif Dungeon
2. New High Level Monsters
3. More than 100 New Quests for Forests of Echo and Alfheim
4. New Armor Strength System
5. New Game User Interface
6. New Speed Potions
7. Complex Monster AI
It’s really clear that Ragnarok Online 2 is still not ready for release. It’s nice to see that Gravity is still seriously working on the sequel to the most successful MMORPG in the Philippines. When I played RO2 in our test servers last year, my main complaint was the lack of content and how simple the game was. The new dungeons, monsters, and systems they’ve added lately will go a long way in making this game reach the same level of success it’s predecessor made.
Next, I’d like to see Gravity release news about the new races, PVP, guild war system, mounts, and other breakthrough features. As soon as we get more information on Ragnarok Online 2, I’ll be sure to post it here so that you guys can read about it. Like what I said before, it’s not likely that RO2 will be released this year in the Philippines. We will only launch it when it’s 100% ready so that it won’t disappoint.

pusta tau last RPC na ngayong taon… ahahahaha… seriously! PVP-RPC-11vs11 players style ang pnkmaganda sa lahat ng competition… ang gulo at boring kaya ng laban sa RF,flyff,khan,PW,etc COMPARED sa RO ah & IMO lang … iba parin ung mabilisan ang mga galaw ng characters.. 3D ang slowpoke kc.. tsaka like hello, nkktamad kaya ung pupunta ka sa LIVE! then 2 teams lang maglalaban, gawin sana ulit 8team eliminations sa LIVE.. pero alam ko sa panaginip nlang un mangyayari.. @_@
then after RPC 08.. memerge ng LUG ung buong subscription servers then gawing free2play.. then after a few months… dedo na ang laro… hahaha… maliban nlnag kung mkpagcome up ng drastic actions ang LUG para mabuhay ang RO ulit… goodluck nlang..

I don’t think RO1 will fade that easy even after the release of RO2, there is simply so much to look forward to like the upcoming 3rd jobs, the underground PVP or Faction style matches/war event with cool account bound items for those who really lay havoc, mercenary system update, Sealed Shrine/Endless Tower Quest and off course the infamous NEW HEADGEARS ~woot~. Judicator also pointed out one important aspect which is the 3D graphics, it will definitely be spectacular to see a LK doing something like a Spiral Pierce in 3D or a Prof casting an LP within a hail of AoE spells [ stalap nito /heh ] but lets face the fact that heavy 3D graphics needs higher system specs and to really enjoy it you should not settle on the minimum requirement, its going to be either disappointing or boring in the long run [ stalap ng loading screens nito for sure ]. But hey thats only my opinion “Malay Mo” the game will still be that accessible as RO1and as real time as possible /heh.

palagay ko dn di ganun madali mag-fade ang RO1. pwera na lang kung talagang magaganda features and story concept ng Ro2. pero pano na yung mga 3rd Jobs kung magfe-fade na yung Ro1 awtz.
kawawa naman yung mga nsa subscription servers,marami nagpe-predict na mawawala na sila hehehe…
Lam nyo guyz, Valkyrie reminds me of RO beta days sa totoo lang (ewan ko lang sa inyu). Na-miss ko yung mga S>gamits deal me to see tsaka yung mga naka vend ng BLUES,AWAKES NO TAWAD AMP. hehe la lang,natutuwa ako sa valkyrie ^^. peace guyz(ctrl+3)

@Zai: I’m really pushing to have the patch up at the soonest possible time but I can’t promise anything yet. I want to post updates but since they’re not yet 100%, baka masunog lang ako pag hindi natuloy, hehe. I’ll only post when it’s 120% sure.

After seeing GM’s play favorites in Ragna PH i just quit and played WoW. and nothing can ever compare for the simple reason that it’s not run by a PH based company.
ANY game that has GM’s running events to keep people entertained; “GM Events” or “Special Appearances” is sure to fail. it just means the game lacks content to keep people busy and it sure to be abused by the GM’s themselves.

hahaha.. almost 4 years na kaming nag hihintay sa RO2… [*sob*] hangang ngeon wla pa din… nakakatamad na ung pRO.. pero sana ung i-rerelease na RO2 sing accessible as pRO.! pag 3d kazi may chance na mag karoon ng mga lagg at kung ano-anong connection impaired.!

I’ve already seen previews of the Ellr race and have played the Norman race (some of the jobs and skills are still pretty buggy). I’m hoping to see a preview of how Dimago will look like.

I am now playing the KRO2 open beta… And like sir wauks said… Its very simple… I think it would be much more exciting if the anticipated races will be released… There is also a screenshot of a poster in an internet cafe in korea that there is supposed to be a huge update this last august 20 but to my eyes in the patch client says that still no update has come…

Naghihintay pa rin kayo ng RO2? ^_^ I probably won’t play RO2 until RO1 is officially done for.. Haha loyal pa rin ako sa game despite the wrong turns/ “mismanagement” as most LU critics put it.
With KRO2 still in open beta, I don’t think this “waiting” is so much futile for now.

Lets wait for about year 2011 for RO2 to come out. Gravity is so scared that it’ll be crushed barefoot by WoW upon early release but they are forgetting that people are getting fed up of waiting already.
I hope that when the time comes that RO2 will be finally released, people are still interested in playing RPG MMO’s…
