“It’s going to be a mirror match.” - Milton Sy, Boza Team Captain

Last week, we had an informal dinner with representatives from the RPC 2007 Finalists, Armada and Bozanian Beast Fighters. We invited Hackenslash Reporter Joey Allarila so we could have a round table discussion about the emotional roller coaster ride which we all call the Ragnarok Philippine Championships 2007. The two guilds will now face each other today to determine who will be crowned the champion. I’d like to thank Joey for accepting the invitation and doing the interview.

TAGUIG CITY, Philippines–In a twist of fate, the Bozanian Beast Fighter guild (represented in this interview by team manager Milton Sy, on the left) whose members played in the Ragnarok World Championship held in South Korea as the Philippine Team Armada, will face the real members of the Armada guild (represented here by Eric Dique) in the finals of the Ragnarok Philippine Championship. The Bozanian and Armada guilds have an alliance and actually practice together. The RPC finals will be held on Nov. 4 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City as part of the Level Up! Live online gaming event. The champion team will receive P250, 000 in cash and another P250, 000 in kind. IF you will recall, Team Armada represented the Philippine in the Ragnarok World Championship, which I covered in South Korea in July for hackenslash and iVDO.

In a twist of fate, however, the members of that Team Armada, which placed third in RWC 2007, is now playing under the name of their actual guild, Bozanian Beast Fighter, and have made it to the finals of the Ragnarok Philippine Championship, where they will face their allies, the Armada guild. Yup, the same Armada whose name they sported for the RWC, as part of the BFF-Armada alliance.

    mapapansin natin sa crowd na solid pa rin tagla sa RO mga players kakatuwa naman…. tapos may makikita ka pang players na parang tatay na naglalaro pa… /heh
