iPad launch date in the Philippines

I was at Powermac center at the Bonifacio Hight Street yesterday and I was able to ask the manager details on the iPad. According to her, the iPad is going to be available in the Philippines this coming May. There’s no price tag yet for now but it won’t be too far off from the price announced by Steve Jobs during his keynote speech.

I’ll post an update as soon as I get more info.

i already got the ipad, i bought it in california. now that im back in the philippines, the app store won’t work as it says ‘not supported in your country.’ unfortunately, i have to wait for the ipad to launch here in the phil so i can use the appstore, since my itunes account isn’t US. It’s bummer really.
