The immortal Hulk Hogan decided to make his 1,000th comeback to the world of professional wrestling. In a press conference a few days ago he announced that he’s signed up with Total Non Stop Action (TNA), joining the ranks of Samoa Joe, Kurt Angle, Booker T, etc. News are going around as well that former WCW head honcho Eric Bischoff is also going to TNA.
Let me quote the Hulkster himself:
I’m thrilled to be jumping back into the world of professional wrestling. My fans have been asking me to return to the business for many years on a full time basis, but the timing or the opportunity has never been right until now. TNA Wrestling is a great company with an already excellent fan base, business and broadcast partner. I firmly believe now is the time for some change at TNA as they are positioned to jump to the next level in their development and I’m here to work with Dixie to help make that a reality.
My best memory of the Hulkster is a match he actually lost. It was against his epic battle against one of my all time professional wrestlers, the Rock. They had a pretty good fight that night at Wrestlemania and they played the crowd beautifully.
Good luck to the Hulkster. It looks like the divorce is draining his funds.
