As most of you guys know, Conan was unceremoniously booted out of the Tonight Show after NBC decided to give the 11:35PM time slot back to Jay Len who failed miserably in prime time. Conan only had 7 months to run the Tonight Show and I was kinda disappointed with how NBC handled this issue. Anyway, what’s interesting is that if you rewind 4 years ago, Howard Stern actually guested on Conan’s show and told him that this would happen.

booted out? conan wasn’t booted out.. nbc gave conan the 12:05 new sched for the tonight show, conan turned it down, coz it wasnt a tonight show anymore, its more like a tomorrow show, conan is a true believer of the tonight show, that it should start after prime time, around 11pm… jay should had retired and moved on, and passed the torch to conan.. but if he really didnt what to retire or quit the tonight show, then it was the company, nbc’s fault.. they should have given leno 5 or 10 more years, given if he can still work at his age..leno is ok with me, but im more on a conan “coco” kinda of guy, i consider jay the king of late night during the 90s and early decade of the 2000′s, but conan’s the future of late night, along with jimmy kimmel, fallon, etc. .. for me, if jay could still deliver, nbc should have given him a few more years then eventually passed it to conan.. or jay should have retired right away, nbc was just chicken shit, they were afraid that jay would transfer from another company and forced that jay leno show just to him stay, nbc sucks big time on that part.. with all of this mess happening, im impressed with conan, he leaved with class, if u have seen his last show yesterday, he showed class, talking to his fans, especially his young fans that its important not to be cynical, he hates cynicism, you cant go anywhere with that trait, he was really humble and even thanked nbc… me too, cant wait to see him 7months from now(coz thats the given months he’s able to work again on another company on his conrtract).. so 7 months from now, some time around august or september, we’ll see u around conan.. =) *i’m with coco*
