Today is the birthday of my late grandfather, Blas F. Ople. He has always been my inspiration and my idol and not a day goes by that our family doesn’t miss having him around. I won’t go on and talk about what he did for the country, but all I can say is that he held the entire Ople clan together and that we will always miss him. I posted one of my favorite speeches from my grandfather on my personal blog. It’s called the Seven Keys to Success and I invite everyone to read it if you have free time. I’m sure you’ll get a lot of insights from it.
The video above was posted at Inquirer.Net this afternoon. We had a small get-together in the morning to celebrate and pay tribute to his life.
