Happy birthday to one of the pioneers of the online gaming industry – Mon “GM Tristan” Macutay! GM Tristan started out as the Ragnarok Community Manager several years ago and I have a lot of fond memories with my “fights” with him when I was still a player of Ragnarok. I can’t forget how many times we ended up in a verbal online joust in the Ragnaboards about various issues which Ragnarok faced back then.
It was really weird when NetGames and Level Up merged – especially when I found out that Mon would be my boss back then. I had this really weird feeling since I can’t count how many times I cursed him online and even face-to-face when I got hacked. LOL! Oh diba memorable moment? Anyway, Mon is now my colleague. To those who don’t know, Mon is the Head of MMORPG’s while I’m the Head of Casual Games, Advergaming, and Responsible Gaming. It’s been an honor to have worked for him and I wish him all the best for his work, family, and everything else.

Wait nyo n lang RO2.. why would you “invest” so much in a virtual account anyway? Pwede rin itanong yan sa PHP buyers ng RO, but then mas may staying power/appeal ang RO unlike ROSE Online.
