Grand Chase Open Beta Celebration Events
First - let me give you guys an update on the OBT for Grand Chase. Maintenance has been extended until 2:00PM since we encountered some last minute bugs that needed to be fixed before we could bring up the game. I can’t guarantee that it will be up at exactly 2PM but the team is really trying their best to have it up and running by that time. Anyway, that’s the bad news… now for the good news! KOG, the developers of Grand Chase, have come up with several in-game Open Beta celebration events and activities for Grand Chase! There’s a bunch of quests that you can do and you also get free items as long as you log-in everyday during the OBT period. Oh, we’re also having the first ever EXP mod as well. Details after the jump!
The first event is basically our “thank you” to everyone who participated during the CBT. Basically just log-in anytime during OBT and you’ll get a bunch of gifts from KOG and Level Up.
Event 1: Grand Gifts for CBT players!
How to Win:
Grand Chase Thank You Gifts for CBT players! All CBT players will receive the following just by logging in for OBT any day within Nov 4 – 14.Grand Gifts:

1. Collect 10 Medals of Victory in PVP modes.
2. Collect 40 Soul Flowers in any Dungeons.(Except Trial Forest, Trial Tower)Grand Gifts:

Events 4 and 5 are “belated Halloween” events that will definitely spice up your November.
Event 4:Happy Halloween Mission!!!
How to Win:

1. Collect 100 Strawberry candies in any Dungeons.(Except Trial Forest, Trial Tower)

This next event is for those who are daring enough to go against the boss monsters in Grand Chase. Players will get a special quest and if they beat the boss monsters, they get bonus items once again!
Event 6: OBT Boss Rush Mission
How to Win:
All OBT players that log in from Nov 7 – 14 will receive the OBT Boss Rush Mission ScrollOBT Boss Rush Mission
1. Defeat Giant DrillMon
2. Defeat Elizabeth
3. Defeat Lich
4. Defeat Paradom

And last but not the least - there’s a 1.5 EXP and GP modifier starting on November 7 until November 9. RAWR!
Event 7: Modified 1.5 EXP and GP for Bermesiah and Ellia Servers from Nov 7 to 9

How do we claim those prizes for Event 1. Will they appear in our CBT account or will we have to file a ticket for our new OBT account? I don’t know about others but I don’t want an account named GCCBTXXXXX forever.

vista problem: GC cannot be played in vista due to gamemon failure initialization..hmmm, any fixes?

i believe they have already looked into running grand chase in vista. try http://www.levelupgames.ph/2008/10/grand-chase-advisory-for-windows-vista-users/, then close your firewall and virus scan since they’re the first suspects in stopping programs from initializing, copying files to your HDD and whatsnot.

playing this game is a blast so i didn’t regret much having to dual boot. i’m also not seeing any bug/hack abusers yet.
