As most of you guys know, Level-up has been running the Ragna Rally event since March. It’s basically a series of EB parties with several side activities like Raffles, Parlor Games, and Trivia. The main event is the Boss Time Attack event wherein the winning team gets a Mjolnir and 10,000 pesos! Last Friday, I was at the Quezon City segment at Blue Skies Internet Cafe at Katipunan. Going there brought back a lot of memories because I actually typed my reports there and played Ragnarok, DOTA, and a host of other games during my breaks when I was still in college. Anyway, enough of the personal memories, hehe! I’m just going to do a quick recap of the Ragna Rally BTA and to those who have plans of joining the future segments, you’d better read on.
So far, Team Guildess from Chaos Server (a.k.a. Coalescence) has been dominating the BTA challenge. They are being closely followed by Team Apocalypse, also from Chaos Server. Coalescence set the pace early with a time of 1:26 minutes during the Cavite segment. They later raised the bar event higher at the portal 1168 in Manila when they hit a record 0:44 seconds. They weren’t able to beat their old time at Quezon City but they still won the event there with 1:01 minutes. It would be in bad taste if I were to post here what strategy Coalescence uses, especially since we are the event organizers. However, I would like to encourage potential challengers to go to the BTA and watch how other teams play. You can learn a lot by just watching and analyzing, and maybe you can apply those learnings to your own strategy when you decide to join the next Ragna Rally. I’m sure Master Diwa knows already what to do since he’s been to 3-4 Ragna Rallies already (hehe).

Funny thing is I thought the BossTimeAttacks were going to be more of a challenge this time around because of the absence of biochemists. But sadly nothing really has changed hehehe. There are still records that reach under a minute. I hope that the finals will be one of the events at Level Up Live 2007 and that the MVP’s will be a little more challenging. We know that a party of four can kill Randgris what more a party of five hehehe.(Get my point? /gg)Though I think it won’t really be that much fun for the spectators since the strategies used are simple when the party is organized. The competitors themselves are the ones having the real fun hehehe. I remember the adrenaline rush I had when my guildmates and I joined during Level Up Live 2006. Weren’t really organized though since it was a last minute thing but that sure was hell a lot of fun.

off topic: on the said idea of sir sniper. What if na dc yung tao because of timegap? or dc kasi naubusan ng load for connection or load ng RO? wala na ba consideration pwede gawin kung sakali maituloy yun? Though maganda sobra idea ni sir sniper. Boto ako doon.

It could be forgiveable but it still is a hassle for the Vanguards anyways it’s for the Vanguards to decide.
In my opinion though the Vanguards really have to be strict with this matter.Because there could be an abuse in between.
Let’s say P1 got dc’d after availing and P2 got dc’d before availing of the promo
P2 will say to P1: “Oi tol pahiram nga /gg” and then he would avail of the promo.
Unless the Vanguards would name on the headgears that received the +1 upgrade I don’t think we could let this slip.
