After weeks of anxiety and stress, we’re finally about to leave for Seoul, Korea, for the Ragnarok World Championships! I’ll be accompanying the Philippine Team, together with Level-up’s CEO, Jane Walker, and Marketing Director, Jake San Diego. Team PH’s manager, Milton Sy, will also be coming along. Armada stalwarts, Kevin Go (Leic) and Marlou Fuma (Marlou) will also be part of the PH contingent. You have to give it up for those three people I just mentioned, they’re paying for their own flight, accomodation, and all other expenses while they’re at Korea.
I’ll be updating this blog and I’ll also be coordinating closely with my boss, GM Tristan, for updates on the official Ragnarok website and forums. I really believe that we have a good chance this year, especially with all the hardships we went through in trying to get the passports and Korean VISAs of the PH Team (LOL). Maybe when all of this is over, I’ll share with everyone what we all went through the past few weeks. Simply put, the red tape in this country is just amazing.
I’d like to thank all the guilds that supported Team PH, especially through the Challenge the Champ Event which we held in Extreme Gaming Grounds last weekend. It was very nice to see the people of RO bond together for a common cause, something which is very rare, hehe. I’d also like to thank makmak641’s Alliance and Sustainers of the Realm, for constantly practicing with Team PH.
Btw, the RWC Team Armada Jackets just arrived in the office. Here are some pics that I took. My GF, Mich, was nice enough to be the model for a quick picture.
