Gaming: Rollback & 3x EXP
I was strolling along Prontera in Freya and Baldur just this afternoon and I was really taken aback by some of the prices. This confirmed that the recent disconnection problems have opened an opportunity for several players to abuse the dupe bug exploit again. While we are able to stop this from happening in the weekly and announced emergency maintenances, our measures doesn’t apply yet to involuntary map zone crashes. As mentioned in my previous post, I’m here to give the official announcement. This will come out in the pRO website in the next couple of minutes so this is pretty much it. Read the official announcement and resolution after the jump.
Citizens of Midgard,
We’ve been receiving multiple complaints about the duplicated item issue. As such, our IT and GM teams worked together with Gravity to determine the full extent of the exploit. We’ve isolated the problem in the following servers – Baldur, Tyr, and Freya. In order to preserve the game integrity and balance of the game we’re going to have inventory, kafra storage, and cart rollback tomorrow during maintenance to June 1, 2007 for the said servers. Take note that your levels, experience, agit economy, agit safeguard, and RPC scores will not be affected by this development. Due to the time needed to implement these changes, maintenance will be extended until 4:00PM. Players who were caught exploiting the bug will be sanctioned accordingly. If you have any suspects, please feel free to submit a player misconduct ticket through Customer Support so we can investigate properly. Gravity will also be making security updates which aims to block new and future methods of this bug.
As compensation, affected servers will be on 3x EXP until June 20, 2007. Thor will be on 2.5x and Urdr will be on 4x because of their previous compensation for the delayed character slot expansion which was scheduled last week.

This is pretty much a “damned if you don’t, damned if you do” moment so I’m sure that this won’t please everyone. I can only share with your frustrations and apologize. At times like these, I really feel sad because I can still remember how bad it felt when I first heard about a rollback when I was still playing. There are no words that will fully express how I feel, but at least I gave it a try through this blog. Thanks to everyone for your support and vigilance.

this time make sure that you are with us, compare the game to private server, if this is free to play game, we don’t have the rights to give a DAMN comment. but this isn’t, we have money involved in the situation.
yup, its not your fault, its not also our fault, then who will be the credit for this one? please don’t put the burden into the players, eventhough Ragnarok is full of botters. Still, they spend money through their accounts.

modified drop rate and game time compensation ang dapat. kung rollback nga kaya nyo gawin agad agad eh malamang madali lang yung mod drop rate at game time. dahil yun naman ang nararapat at hindi mod XP na wala namang kinalaman sa rollback na gagawin nyo.

The good news is that we’ve actually implemented the anti-dupe system already. This was installed a few weeks ago and we’ve confirmed that it works with various contacts. If ever people try to dupe during maintenance, there’s a 1% chance that it will push through, and a 99% chance that they’ll lose the item. Hopefully by next week this will be 100% in favor of losing their stuff. However, this is just a measure that we’ve implemented here at LU, and we’re still asking Gravity to come up with a more permanent solution that won’t drain manpower during maintenance.

For the additional 3x Drop Rate, I already forwarded an e-mail to Gravity asking for it. If it gets approved tomorrow morning, it will be 3x EXP, 3x Drop Rate for 1 week.

First and foremost, I’d like to wish all the guilds who will be starting their bids for the RWC Agit Lord slots tonight! Vanguards will be online tonight getting fraps because we’ll eventually make a video similar to the Sakray Method materials. We’re also starting the RWC Wild Card, and I’d like to wish all the nominees good luck as well. If you guys can’t process your vote, give it a few minutes because it’s probably due to site traffic. Anyway, on to the more pressing topic - the dupe resolution.

The second good news is that Gravity has agreed to develop a tool that will trace the original sources of the duplicated items. That means that we will be able to sanction people who abused this bug from the very start. The tool can also trace how the item travelled so there’s a paper trail. The problem is that the tool will take some time to develop, so we really need other policies implemented soon.
The question now is will we delete duplicated items from the server? The answer is a resounding YES, but on a case-to-case basis. We will not just run the original script which will indiscriminately delete everything. We will check trade logs and inventory histories to make sure that players who legally traded or bought items like this will either be compensated accordingly with zenny or the item will no longer be deleted (depends on the nature of the item). This will be a long process, and it will not just happen in one day. This, we believe, is the best course of action that will strike a balance between game integrity and protection of innocent players.
So what now? We will now be entertaining reports filed through the CS tickets and the CS calls. If you have suspects, you can easily submit their character name, server, and if possible, attach screenshots as well. The GM Team will investigate and we can assure everyone that if anyone is caught guilty, they will be sanctioned accordingly. I strongly advise everyone to refrain from buying high value items at the moment because we will start purging items tomorrow and it will last for at least 1 month. If you really need to buy items, make sure to take screenshots before and after so that you have evidence of a fair trade.
Level-up will release an official statement about this tomorrow through the official Ragnarok Online website. Lastly, I would just like to air out a warning to people who exploited this bug - your days are numbered.

First and foremost, I’d like to wish all the guilds who will be starting their bids for the RWC Agit Lord slots tonight! Vanguards will be online tonight getting fraps because we’ll eventually make a video similar to the Sakray Method materials. We’re also starting the RWC Wild Card, and I’d like to wish all the nominees good luck as well. If you guys can’t process your vote, give it a few minutes because it’s probably due to site traffic. Anyway, on to the more pressing topic - the dupe resolution.
The good news is that we’ve actually implemented the anti-dupe system already. This was installed a few weeks ago and we’ve confirmed that it works with various contacts. If ever people try to dupe during maintenance, there’s a 1% chance that it will push through, and a 99% chance that they’ll lose the item. Hopefully by next week this will be 100% in favor of losing their stuff. However, this is just a measure that we’ve implemented here at LU, and we’re still asking Gravity to come up with a more permanent solution that won’t drain manpower during maintenance.
The second good news is that Gravity has agreed to develop a tool that will trace the original sources of the duplicated items. That means that we will be able to sanction people who abused this bug from the very start. The tool can also trace how the item travelled so there’s a paper trail. The problem is that the tool will take some time to develop, so we really need other policies implemented soon.
The question now is will we delete duplicated items from the server? The answer is a resounding YES, but on a case-to-case basis. We will not just run the original script which will indiscriminately delete everything. We will check trade logs and inventory histories to make sure that players who legally traded or bought items like this will either be compensated accordingly with zenny or the item will no longer be deleted (depends on the nature of the item). This will be a long process, and it will not just happen in one day. This, we believe, is the best course of action that will strike a balance between game integrity and protection of innocent players.
So what now? We will now be entertaining reports filed through the CS tickets and the CS calls. If you have suspects, you can easily submit their character name, server, and if possible, attach screenshots as well. The GM Team will investigate and we can assure everyone that if anyone is caught guilty, they will be sanctioned accordingly. I strongly advise everyone to refrain from buying high value items at the moment because we will start purging items tomorrow and it will last for at least 1 month. If you really need to buy items, make sure to take screenshots before and after so that you have evidence of a fair trade.
Level-up will release an official statement about this tomorrow through the official Ragnarok Online website. Lastly, I would just like to air out a warning to people who exploited this bug - your days are numbered

I think the hottest topic today after the latency problems and the merge would be the dupe item deletion. We announced this earlier during one of the server merge updates and we’ve gotten mixed reactions over it. A lot of players were happy, but at the same time a lot of players were also worried. I just came back from an EB party of Baldur hosted by gamers and I opened this topic up to them. We had a very good discussion and I would like to share with everyone what possible solutions we came up with. I’d appreciate it a lot if you guys can leave a comment saying which option you’d prefer and why.
OPTION 1: DELETE ALL THE DUPES
This is pretty self-explanatory. We deleted all the items with the same serial numbers all at the same time. There will be no compensation and we will do this in just one maintenance. This was the original plan of action.
OPTION 2: DON’T DELETE ANYTHING
I am really NOT inclined to do this. We should make an effort to preserve game integrity no matter the cost. The lack of rarity makes RO so easy to play that it actually shortens the lifespan of the business.
OPTION 3: DELETE ALL THE DUPES, BUT GRADUALLY
To minimize the shock factor, we delete the duped items one type at a time. We will just pick maybe 10-15 high value items (boss cards, SGH, etc.) and delete 2-3 every week. Players that are affected get a token ticket which they can trade in at certain NPCs for zenny or token in-game items that won’t disrupt game balance.

Kawawa naman yung mga sinuwerte sa drops at pag uupgrade ng equips. Kahit anung x ang ibigay sa drop or exp, di pa din sure na makaka +10 ka ulit. Di ba pwede na selective nalang yung rollback? Kung nakabili ako ng dupe, edi ibalik ang pera ko tapus i delete yung dupe na item, pag di ako involved sa dupe, edi wag na galawin yung items ko. 2 weeks lang naman yung check na data, e. Mahirap yung ganun, pero kung wala naman involuntary map crashes, wala pa din sila chance mag dupe(”an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure”-gasgas na kasabihan). Alam nyo naman na napaka opportunistic ng mga dupers, e.
Kung ggwan nyo ng paraan, sana yung hindi matatamaan yung mga inosente. Parang easy (relatively easier) way out yung rollback e.

I played the hugel Racing game since it was implemented. Tapos ngayon ko lang naabot yung 1500 medals. Nakuha ko na excalibur ko tapos ROLLBACK?!!!!
Ilang buwan ko pinaghirapan yung races, may pilot pa ako. Ganito lang mangyayari??????? KAhit 100X pa ang droprate, nde naman ako makakapulot ng Excalibur ah. Kala ko ba may Duplicate Wiper na kayo in place every maintenance. It has been month since in-announce ito. Ala rin pala.
This thing really wants to make me quit. I never had a god item or an MVP card. Ito na lang ang power item ko dahil the only transies in my account are paladins.
I curse the day na nilaro ko pa ragnarok. Nde yung pera ang pinanghihinayangan ko. Yung oras na sinayang ko sa races. Yung mga mods na pinalampas ko para lang mag ipon ing medals.

Guys I think there would be rok compensation same like what
happened in Thor server rollback from Jan 31,2007 however the
rollback cause is not about the dupped items. The bad news in
that rollback sequence didn’t affect zenny. I hope this time zenny to is
included in this rollback and hugel medals shouldn’t be rollback.
And 2 weeks to go before it reaches 1 month about what Wauks
said about the dupped resolution issue of deleting this duped items
in all servers. The only catch is about their anti dupped program
created wherein only 1% of the dupped item would succeed and 99%
of it would fail but it seems this 1% still kick in and comes big and
started June 1, 2007. It only means the one anti dupped program that
their IT temporary have created have failed resulting to this Rollback.
Time can no longer be returned, I take sympathy with other players
like me been victim of this duped since last year, now I’m just waiting
for the actual anti dupped program from Gravity itself to be used in
PRO. And the anti bot system that Wauks would ask like hell for when
he go to Korea for Thor, I’m still looking forward for it despite what
happened although I stop playing PRO for the meantime awaiting
this programs to be created. We can’t blame anyone angry or
frustrated with this rollbacks. Hope the integrity of the game is still
there, I hope so.

So if I put two and two together, you’re basically saying that ONLY the items will be rolled back, but the zeny will probably NOT.
Now what does that mean???
It means ONLY THE DUPERS WILL BENEFIT from your rollback!
You see, dupers generate and sell items to get zeny. Non-dupers (like me) spend zeny to buy items. So if you go ahead with this item rollback, dupers not only get their sold items back, but they get to keep their zeny! And us non-dupers will not only lose our purchased items, but the zeny we spent on those items will still be gone!
WHAT THE HELL KIND OF SOLUTION IS THAT, HUH?!?!?
That kind of solution is nothing but good for dupers. And it’s nothing but bad for non-dupers!
You say that it’s in order to preserve game integrity because of the dupe abuse. But not once did your solution mention anything about deleting dupes! These duped items are just going to go back to the dupers again and they’ll probably sell it again and earn even more zeny! Wow man… If that’s how you solve things, then I wish I was a duper too.
Please… please… please!! Think things through before you propose solutions like this. I won’t deny that I’m very pissed right now, especially since I just spent 200m in the last 3 days. To think I’ll lose all my newly bought items, my loots AND my zeny… Damn man. How the heck am I supposed to feel???

bulsa ang magload.. no need na para sa rollback.. di na rin kasi

Some (well… most) players will see this as a NEGATIVE thing in the short run. In my blog, some people complain na “lugi†daw. What about the cheating, the game balance and fair play? Sino mas lugi in the long run? Nde ba kayo rin?
By detecting and getting rid of the duped items, you level the playing field and have a sense of game balance (just like the old days when boss cards and SGHs were RARE).
The reason an item is powerful is because of the rarity. There’s an obvious reason why only bosses and powerful monsters drop these items. If porings dropped Pole-axes and everyone has them, sino pa may gana mag laro?
The point is, those items ARE NOT LEGAL. They were cheated and duped. That’s why we are getting rid of them. Some people may agree and some may not. We cannot please all, I admit. But doing this is for the good of the majority and for the game’s long life…

sir Tristan…… i believe ROLLBACK is not a way to get rid of DUPLICATE ITEMS…… as i was saying……. are you sure that those items were duplicated only these past 2weeks? for sure i know, pagbalik ko last april, ang dami ng dupe, hindi lang masyado nagpaparamdam pero marami na……. errr… rollback will not get rid of them…… in Waukeens post last May 29, he said that Gravity agreed to develop a tool to trace the original sources of duplicated items…….. we don’t care if it takes a long time….. what we want are updates and the mechanics on how it would be carried out… sources lang ng duplicated items ang dapat maparusahan…… ang nangyari pati kami nadamay…. please think this out first…. and sorry for my crappy grammar

Nung naka konek, nakita ko sa char select screen na walang suot na headgear ang character ko (ano yan nag roll-back!?) pag login ko ala yung TOG sa inventory, wala rin sa inventory ng friend ko.
Now this is my question, makakatulong ba yang roll-back na yan para mabalik ang nawalang TOG namin? Kung hindi mababalik niyo ba ang mga nawala? Kasi sigurado akong hindi lang ito nanyari samin.

whew, and now LUG is doing something! But isn’t it too late for that? Prevention would have been better! We are paying customers, we have tolerated your flaws and mistakes! But I think this step is too late…
I know you don’t encourage PHP trades, but isn’t the countless characters in prontera with pubs “B> PHP, **** area only” and “S> 100 RO load, 25M” an evidence of you tolerating PHP trades? What of them? How are they gonna get back their hard-earned money? Oh, you don’t care coz you already have their cash on your wallets! This is RPC time, most people shell out money to be able to support their guild and I’m not ashamed to say that I do.
I hope that LUG would just go for prevention. It’s too complicated to look for a way to fix this, coz there ain’t no way to fix this already.
Don’t mistake me for a pro-duper, I’m against duping but duping has already made it’s damage. Don’t do more damage by doing this and losing the hard-core gamers that has supported your game ever since.

DUPE issues will still have an impact on the game no matter how many rollbacks you do, this is bec LUG is not solving the root cause of the problem.
Bakit ba kase di ma-resolve yung BUG that allows duplication of items?
Again, LUGs solution will benefit DUPERS, kawawa yung mga nakabili ng items.

Dapat permanent ban ang gagawin niyo sa mga mahuhuling nag d-dupe.. Kasi kapag walang permanent ban, babalik at babalik sila.. Ganun nangyari sa mga bots, kaya ang dami na ng mga botters ngayon kasi hindi niyo sila binaban, kahit na sinasabi niyong ibaban yung mga mahuhuling magbobot pero wala naman nababan na botter..

Not many people fell trap to buying powerful items in the vends of people. It was pretty obvious that they were duped.
So let the majority keep their zennies. they earned it and let those FEW people who mistakenly bought powerful duped items file a ticket and be compensated individually.

This dupe problem wouldn’t be this bad if it weren’t for the dupers and cheaters itself. Kung walang dupper, walang ganitong problema. Kung walang cheaters and money hungry people doing this type of illegal activity, walang ganitong problema.
Madami kayong reklamo tungkol sa dupe at report ninyo yung mga suspected duppers and several instances mga vend na umaabot ng 99m at more than 10 pieces of the same item are on vend. Hindi ba halata na dupe na yun? Bakit pa yung iba bumili pa nun na may knowledge na nakakaduda yung vend nung vendor? Common sense naman.
Madami kayo na send ng reports about the dupe problem in your servers. You have filled up the cust care with complaints. You called up the hotlines and ask about the dupe. Now LU has declare an action to remove the dupe by doing a rollback on ITEMS only and leaving other vital stats of your account/character intact. And you complain even more??
Buti nga kayo 2 weeks lang eh. Eh yung Thor? Ilang months yung rollback dahil sa dupe? 3 months. 3 freakin’ months and majority of items and equips were lost due to some idiot dupping items. Not only has this happened once, but twice! (Late 2006, Mar 2007) Just see yourselves luckier than Thorians.

I think roll back is not the solution for this Madadamay mga innocente. You said you have the anti dupe Items then prove that you have one alam nyo me suggestion catch one duper then i aanounce every ingame para masaya.

Regarding the anti dupe thingy bakit need nyo pa ang screenshot gawin nyo na lang every name na lang na i submit namin try to investigate and try to figure out kung me dupe items sila.

Tanggalin lang ang dupe items we can wait for the dupe items to be wipe out basta isama din yung dupers.

DAPAT KASI TOTAL WIPEOUT NG DUPED ITEMS GINAWA NYO DATI PA. Ba’t pa kasi pinatagal nyo, binigyan nyo ng napakalaking loophole at opportunity para abusuhin yung BAGAL ng pagtrabaho nyo. Oo pwede clean-up on a case-to-case basis, pero super slow at napakadaling i-recover yun.
Tapos constant (and possibly intentional) negligence within LUG.
Please do a check with your staff, and not just with the game itself.

Rollback is only a temporary solution and has a big impact on players.
The best solution is to wipeout all dupped items starting from October
2006 until June 2007. Every weekly maintenance delete dupped items
since LUG’s anti dupped program failed and banned all players
have a newly created duped item ( this include’s the one who pick it up
from the ground traded bought the item from the vend bought the
item from the auction hall and also check the mail box even if it’s
temporarily disabled due to RPC). If don’t have any plans on doing it
then there would be another rollback, since as mentioned the anti
dupped program created by LUG’s IT failed. Since how come they
produce a lot of duplicate items despite 99% that duplicated items
and the one been duplicated would be immediately eliminated and
1% chance it would kick off.
This I think the solution and it would also result to some player’s
quitting. Maybe, that’s the main reason for choosing the rollback
instead of duplicate item wipeout in the first place.

gud news is, babalik na un fairplay. hindi na xya madaya and babalik na (SANA) un challenge ng game (i guess di xya babalik kc sa bots din)
bad news is, the compensation is NOT enough. 3xEXP/DROP may be good but what will happen if the player has no load at all?? i believe there should be a 1 week free time. besides, baldur is still suffering under VERY HEAVY losses kc di p binigay un game time compensation ng CHAOS… mas kawawa un naka-unli-load din.

why couldn’t you have taken the more fair route. why couldn’t you just go through the database and clean out the dupes? it’s a database.
I’m with Yralyn. You should’ve just done the fair thing. That way tje only people who will be whining are the botters and dupers, like that nimrod Legokidd. But no, instead, you’re penalising people who actually want to play the game properly.
i’ve read all of the comments here, and while quite a few of them were really f*in irritating, these people have a point.
a june 1 rollback only benefits you guys. there are a lot of people here who are internet cafe players. essentially you’re telling these people to throw away about PHP 1,500 depending on the rate of the cafes their forced to play in.

Kiko, GM Tristan has been playing since beta, so before you cast your aspersions, kilalanin mo muna yung pinagsasabihan mo. You make a lot of good points though. Thing is, maybe you are right… maybe the people in LUG have forgotten how it is to be players…
GM Tristan, sorry to say this but you guys are reaping what those MORONS who were working in LUG before you guys have sown. Maybe there are still people there who have connections to the large botting/duping guilds in the three servers… and maybe, as Yralyn said this inefficiency was intentional.

Then why don’t you ban/delete/rollback/punish just those people instead? Why do you have to do a server-wide rollback that will affect EVERYONE, the MAJORITY of which ARE INNOCENT?
Do any of you know about the Theory of Utilitarianism? It’s a simple but basic rule of COSTS VS BENEFITS. Just look at the rollback you propose to do. Do you really think that the Cost will outweigh or justify the Benefit?? Read all the posts and you’ll definitely see that the majority of players DO NOT AGREE with your proposal.
Up until now, we have not been given an EXPLANATION of how this 2-week long rollback will solve or prevent the dupe bug problem. You know why? It is because IT DOES NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM! In fact, this will just aggravate and frustrate EVERYONE!
You’re a brand manager. Who are you serving?
The rollback will ONLY BENEFIT DUPERS. They get to keep their zeny and PHP, and they’ll get their items back. And guess what? It seems like they can continue to keep on duping after the rollback because YOU DID NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM!
How about the rest of the RO population? I don’t the exact figure but I’m guessing that at least 90-95% of the population is innocent. We did not duplicate items. The ones that we have were either bought with zeny and/or PHP or came from monster drops and quests. Think about what will happen if you TAKE AWAY OUR ITEMS WITHOUT GIVING US BACK OUR MONEY OR OUR HARD WORK. Do you think WE WANT THAT? HELL NO!!!
Oh yeah one last thing. The 3x EXP/drop as a means of compensation for the rollback is stupid. As you can see from the posts, NO ONE REALLY CARES ABOUT THAT.
So again, I think what everyone wants can be summarized into one sentence:
DON’T DO A ROLLBACK!!!

Ok I did a little more thinking and this is my “theory” on why they announced a ROLLBACK. Conspiracy theorists are welcome to comment
First Waukeen announces that they’ve created an anti-dupe script and that the “dupers days are numbered”. The script was supposed to delete illegal items which not suprisingly caused an uproar in the pRO population.
This also sends all the dupers into a selling frenzy vending Ice picks, GR cards, and other rare items which in turn exposes the dupers identities (who will hopefully be banned and die horrible and torturous deaths).
Waukeen then announces that they’ll implement a ROLLBACK instead of the planned DUPE deletion. Cue angry bloodthirsty mobs.
What if they planned everything from the very beginning? First announcing the DUPE deletion to ferret out the DUPERs and get them to dump the items at ridiculously low prices. Once they’ve tagged the DUPERs they announce that they’ll do a ROLLBACK but in reality they’ll eventually go with the DUPE deletion which was announce weeks ago. I mean ask yourselves this. If you were to choose RIGHT NOW between a ROLLBACK and DUPE deletion which would you pick? Pretty slick move diba? There will be less angry mobs now with the DUPE deletion than it was a few weeks ago. Everybody’s happy.

This is our fate. We’ve wasted lots and lots of money & time just to fulfill our desire. The desire to play pRO. This is just so fucked up! We thought we can get away from the real world momentarily. To relieve stress, have fun and to think that this eliminates all your problems temporarily. But it’s not. It’s just like the real world. Yes, this is just a game. Most abuse their power to deteriorate lives. I’m pertaining to the LU administration and the GMs. Have you ever realized the damage you’ve done since this shitload started? i’ve read your post #78 also after waukeen gave their decision regarding sa dupe issue. i really appreciate that post. you have very good point there. in fact kung nabasa cguro ni waukeen yonm before they make a decision they will go for option 2. though i am for option #3, after reading your cooment i have an inclination for option 2.

do you still remember the number game promo of PEPSI? Everyday the pepsi will release the winning number and once you have that number in your pepsi cap you can win php1,000,00, php500,000 or php100,000. PHP yan hindi zeny!
because of this number game promo ng pepsi bumbaba ung income ng coke. during that time naiwanan ng pepsi ung coke in terms of sales.
Lo and behold dumating ung 349 (not sure of the number combination) problem. Sobra dami ang meron 349 cap and the pepsi reverse the winning number for that day. daming taong nagalit sa PEPSI. all over the philippines galit na galit ung mga tao sa pepsi. then during that time wala ng bumili ng pepsi products ( of course i’m not sure sa present time).
I think THIS IS IT for pRO! the dupe issue is too big for LU, GM, IT and waukeen group to solve. if they can solve this problem I will salute them and i will even recommend them for philippine government cabinet post! but unless they can solve the dupe bug problem first this is the end for RO years is inevitable. ROLLBACK is not the answer if the dupers can still continue doing the illegal things after the rollback.
Hindi lang 12-0 ang mangyari sa pRO. 24-0 na talaga and nobody cares to patch RO anymore.

(gah, clicked submit too soon) i see your point. like i mentioned in 303. these two weeks are ON THE AVERAGE, roughly PHP 1,500 per regular player… multiply that by the number of players on Baldur, Tyr, and Freya… and we’re looking at around PHP 15 MILLION (assuming the three servers have a combined population of 10,000 regulars) that this rollback is asking those players to throw away.
it was always a question of fairness vs. expediency…
oh well.

Just want to post one comment here. I read every single one, including the ones still in moderation. I think this post will be one of the most famous posts because in the end it was one of the strongest reasons why the rollback never pushed through, and I even used it when I was talking to the senior management of Level-up.
If there’s anyone you guys should thank for the rollback not happening and the dupe wipe coming up, it’s yourselves.

Yep, it’s ourselves to blame for the rollback not happening (because the 10% of actual manual players in the commercial servers who worked hard without botting would lose their hard-worked items, while the remaining 90% [botters] would lose all their “pondo” to sell), and for the dupe wipe not happenning…
… even though in the end we’re also the ones whining about it.
Some people really just want to find a reason to go emo.
