So much has been happening in Ragnarok Online that it’s driving everyone crazy. I’m not just talking about the community, but also everyone here at Level-up. I can’t really say that we’re past the problem yet, but at least we’re taking the steps to resolve the issue. Let me clarify the compensation for the innocent players affected by the wipe. You won’t get the dupe item back, that’s 100%. What you will get is the item(s) you traded for the dupe, or the zenny you used to purchase the said item. I can’t exactly guarantee everyone that you’ll get everything back, but hopefully you’ll get something that will help you recover your equipment. The time frame for the restoration is a bit long, mainly because of the volume of tickets that we’re getting everyday. We will try our best though to resolve all the tickets faster as we are currently focusing all of our available resources in order to fix this problem at the soonest possible time. Citizens of Midgard,

After the successful implementation of the dupe item wipe, we’ve been receiving a lot of tickets asking for compensation. We would just like to clarify that we will be helping everyone and we will be entertaining all of your concerns. Due to the surge of tickets, we will be working on the cases by batches. If you lost an item which you got anytime from April 19, 2007 to June 19, 2007, your ticket will be resolved with a minimum of 4 weeks depending on the amount of cases that we receive. Players with items lost prior to that date will be processed afterwards but it will take another 3-4 weeks after the first batch. Take note that we won’t be able to return the items that was wiped because those were duplicated items. We will only return the zenny or some of the items you traded for the wiped duped equipment.

In the course of our investigation of your concerns, we will look into your trade, inventory, and kafra logs. If we find enough evidence that shows you exploited the bug yourselves, then please be warned that we will not hesitate to sanction your account with a permanent ban.

The number of tickets we received confirms our suspicion that a lot of innocent players were affected by the wipe. However, we stand by our decision that it was the right thing to do in order to preserve the integrity and balance of Philippine Ragnarok Online. We will try our very best to help all the innocent players who were affected by this wipe and speed up the process of restoration. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your support and understanding.

To the dupers who would want to abuse this by filing tickets, please take note of the second paragraph of the announcement. Everyone who files a ticket will be investigated from head to toe, kinda like a cavity search. If in the process we find dubious amounts of dupe items or if your trade logs reflect your character even doing the exploit, then we will not hesitate to permanently ban your account(s). Regarding the time frame – it’s long because we want to manage everyone’s expectations. If the tickets stop coming in, then we can actually resolve your cases sooner (less than 4 weeks). But if the tickets keep on coming, then it will be hard to resolve all the cases even with a minimum of 4 weeks as we’ve stated in the announcement

Lastly, guys please take note that the GM Team is still cracking down on the dupers. I have it in good faith that not all of the cards have been wiped yet so it may take some more time. I strongly suggest that everyone refrain from doing high value transactions for now. If ever you do want to risk it, please make sure you have a screenshot so you have proof of the valid trade. We’re going to initiate the script daily to lessen the impact of the dupe items in the game economy. I’d like to thank everyone for their patience and support, it’s really been a harrowing experience for all of us.
