I just got back from lunch! Apparently a new Binalot franchise opened at our canteen here at Pacific Star. Their sisig is something you guys should try one of these days, hehe. Anyway, that’s OT, let’s get down to business! Everything but one more task related to the merge is done. We can actually put up the servers already. The only thing left to do is to insert the 2 hours free load to the split accounts, which our billing provider is already doing right now. As soon as that finishes, then we can open the gates of Baldur, Freya, Tyr, Thor, Urdr, and Sakray!

I would like to take this chance to caution everyone. The servers might be unstable when it goes up. Even though things look peachy here at the office, no one can really say what will happen once we open the servers to the public. If ever the server does go up within the next 2 hours, we will be calling it a test. We need to see if the new servers can handle the traffic. I’d appreciate it if you guys can help out by calling the Customer Support hotline or by filing tickets if you discover any bugs or other problems. We have to work together so we can iron everything out.

Lastly, it has come to my attention that the servers will not recognize items with the same serial number. In the coming days, the remaining duplicated and illegal items will be deleted from the servers. In two weeks, we are estimating a 100% dupe-free Ragnarok Online. Please stop big trades for now. Don’t buy big items like boss cards or +10 equips using your hard earned zenny or PHP. If that’s a dupe, then it will disappear in the next 2 maintenances. The dupe-delete script will run every maintenance which will ensure a fair, clean, and honest RPC/RWC 2007. I know that some people will be affected by this but it is unavoidable. The server script was installed by Gravity to make sure that the game integrity and balance is kept.
