Ragnarok Online 2 is re-creating popular cities from Midgard into full 3D renditions. We’ve already seen Prontera City and even the dreaded Culverts. One of the most recent videos posted at YouTube comes from fubenalvo who takes her character around the industrial city of Einbroch! The look and feel of the place is really great and the BGM is also amazing. I can’t help but marvel at how big the world of RO2 will be. Anyway, enough talk from me. Watch the video after the jump. I was talking with the developers of RO2 and they said they’re looking into putting in Steam-based vehicles and maybe even creature mounts sometime in the future.

I don’t have an english script when I play during the testing. Fortunately though Level-up has a Gravity engineer stationed locally at our office. So when I play, I just bug him to go to my room and I ask him to translate stuff that I don’t understand.

I suggest you guys try it first before judging it :heh: Anyway, kRO2 OBT starts soon and I’m getting accounts. I can’t give ‘em out because their IP locked to the office.

sorry but this particular city seems boring. the lackluster textures reminds me of RAN, which i don’t really like. gray everywhere, doesn’t feel ragnarok at all. steampunk should be a nice theme but i don’t see anything steam punky in that video. it should have more brass, copper and funky steam machines!

I agree with you that the setting was too dark. Reminds me of Silent Hill. They should have put more machines ala Full Metal Alchemist. :heh:
