Gaming: Ragnarok Online 2 Korea Open Beta
Ragnarok Online 2 is going to have it’s Korean Open Beta this May. This is definitely big news not just for Korea, but for everyone around the world. This announcement pretty much confirms that Ragnarok Online 2 will launch this year and not 2008. Gravity will also be launching an international marketing campaign to support RO2, which will definitely help in building more hype for the game. I have a feeling that they’ll stick to online marketing like tie-ups with the major online gaming websites. Anyway, I got a cool new picture from Gravity which I’ll be posting here now. This is actually my new wall paper for my lap top, hehe. Check it out after the jump.
Definitely smooth eh? It’s good to see that Gravity is churning out good art support for their latest game. Hopefully RO2 will live up to the hype and become the biggest game in the Philippines.

will RO1 be phased out? if in time na malaos na RO1 wat will hapen to our accounts? magamit pa ba namin though F2P na sya or d na inuupdate… hehe…

RO1 wouldn’t be phased out. RO1 and 2 are different worlds and would not affect each other. Your account stays in RO1. As long as there are players availing the services of RO1, they cannot close it down prematurely.

I agree with Variance. Ragnarok Online 2 is a totally different game. Though it might get some RO1 players, I’m pretty sure that majority of the RO1 community will stick with RO1.

Yeah, RO2 focuses more on community-based activities, things which hardcore players will miss on RO1, so I don’t think the coming of RO2 will kill the RO1 community. As long as Gravity churns out patches and updates for both games, people will still play it.

RO2 Openbeta will be on 28th of this month…after the openbeta test about 1-2 months again to finalize the game. expect na darating RO2 sa atin either July or Aug.

Sana kapag dumating na ang RO2 sa Pinas, tapos nagkaroon na ng bayad ang pagalaro nun, gawin ng libre ang RO1. Heheheh!

After Ragnarok 2 becomes “online” in the phil. Would we still be able to play RO1, coz honestly, Me and my friends don’t like RO2 coz its 3d and so “Rose” like

Infact now you can register as a tester for beta test and able to download the client on the official website…right now my friend gave his account for me and now I able to play my Novice ^^. But the client I’d download was a korean version. currently hirap parin akong maglaro,lalo na pag pa Job change ako to Clown. Kase nga Korean….Hehehe

haha.. im playing kro2 beta..
lvl 6 swordsman..
there are 3 new servers in game.. i think there are almost 10 servers running..
good luck making accounts and patching the game..

btw i DLed it at mmosite downloads section fast and reliable.. u can also get the english patch there.. but the latest english patch I got it somewhere..
