Ragnarok Online 2 is revolutionizing the online gaming industry by having multiple closed beta tests (CBT) to promote and improve the game. The first CBT was done December which focused more on the look and feel of the game. The second CBT took place late February which showcased the weapon growth and skill system. Gravity has recently announced that the third CBT will happen on April 26 – May 5. We’re expecting one or two more CBT before we can actually see the game in Open Beta. There will be about 100,000 players participating in this CBT, including the 22,000 players who have joined the 1st and 2nd CBT. 78,000 participants will be decided based on the draw results. All the RO2 members who joined during the period from the first CBT till April 23, 2007 can participate in the draw. The list of 3rd CBT participants will be announced on April 24, 2007. Gravity will hold 4 events during the 3rd RO2 CBT period and the participants will have chance to win decent prizes as follows:

Edit: To answer people’s questions, this is the third KOREAN beta. No date has been set for an English beta yet. Instructions on how you can attempt to join the beta can be found here.

GM, how can i join the CBT for RO2, I have a PC in our house with a Broadband connection and I’ve been playing pRO for the longest time and I want to a part of the CBT of RO2….how can I get the Client and Account for CBT of RO2???
