Gaming: Ragnarok Level-up Championships?
When I was at the Gravity Festival for the Ragnarok World Championships, I was able to talk to a lot of Ragnarok publishers from various countries. This included Julio from Level-up Games Brazil who was in charge of Brazil Ragnarok. Brazil lost to the Philippines in a highly contested and lagged game. It was cleary evident in the faces of the Brazil Team that they were really frustrated, and who wouldn’t be? During one of the breakfast buffets, Julio approached me and we discussed the possibility of having another international tournament - the Ragnarok Level-up Championships, featuring Brazil, India, and the Philippines!
The Ragnarok Level-up Championships is just an idea for now, but I’m pretty sure that this will blossom and turn into a real event sometime soon. It’s about time that we go international with our annual tournaments and I was very fortunate to get the contact information of publishers of Ragnarok from Europe, Indonesia, Japan, and the US. Most, if not all of them, are very willing to have intercontinental battles in lieu of the Ragnarok World Championships. Take note that we are not boycotting the RWC, we’re just openning up more opportunities to have more friendly tournaments with gamers from other parts of the world.
Maybe the RLC can be the culminating event for the RPC? No one really knows for sure at this point but it’s definitely a good idea that we can pursue. More updates about the Ragnarok Philippine Championships Agit Lords, Wild Card, and Regional Tournament later this afternoon.

sir wauks paanu na pow ang RPC2007? there been rumors around that the RPC 2007 will be canceled due to the latency problem?

RPC 2007 will push through 100%. I’ll give you guys an udpate on the latency and time tables soon. I actually had a meeting with Gravity about that when I was in Korea. :)

sir wauks if there’s a latency software that uses some of the players during WOE as a mode of cheating especially in Agit Lords, can LUG find was to stop these problems
Napupuno na kmi sa mga ibang guild kokonti lang pero grabeng lag nararanasan namin talaga po, dapat may mga vanguards guarding WOE. marami na pow sa amin nakikita ang problema sa game, BALDUR, TYR, FREYA.
