Gaming: Ragnarok GTB Bulletin!

I’m going home a bit early today. I usually stay at the office until 9-10PM but today will be an exception. Looks like I’m getting burned out. Hopefully this is temporary thing - I’ll get back into form after I get some much needed rest. Anyway, I just wanted to put up a quick post going on the road. Since I live in QC, it’s roughly a 1 hour - 1 hour and a half drive from the office to my house. One of the most ask questions lately is when the Golden Thief Bug card will be disabled. It’s been one of the popular comments left at this blog and I think it’s time we give a date. Wanna find out? Read on.

The GTB Card will be officially disabled on May 17, 2007 during the Server Merge maintenance. Why? Because RPC Agit Lords will start on May 24, 2007. Mechanics of RPC Agit Lords will be posted on the official website within the week. Take note that the Agit Lords tournament is very important this year because the top scorers per server will battle it out to become the representative to RWC.

The agit lords are crucial because it is the best way to get into position for RWC. 6 of the 8 slots for the RWC eliminations will come from Agit Lords. Grand winner of the 8-team single elimination online tournament goes to Seoul, Korea for a chance to win more than 1 million pesos in cold hard cash.

I can’t keep saying it enough - RPC 2007, Where Gamers Become LEGENDS.

    As in no wild cards po ba sa whole RPC or no Wild Card entries para madetermine yung entry sa RWC?


  5. Hmm, I’ll have to take that back guys. There have been some developments with the mechanics and there’s a possibility of 1 wild card entry (RWC). I’ll know by tomorrow and I’ll make another update.

    is there a possibility n Disable lang ang GTB sa WoE kasi po pag disable naman e wala n xang kakwenta kwenta daig pa ng poring card me +1 sa Luk

  9. Clarify ko lang guys - yung Wild Card will 100% definitely push through with the RPC Agit Lords. What I’m talking about in this post is the RWC 2007 qualifiers - which is completely different.

    d ata nila kaya ng I.T nila un eh.
    pero maganda un sa mga GTB users, sa pvp pwede pero sa WOE wala… ganun naman dapat eh e1 ko bakit naging both wala.

  15. I vote for disable gtb in WoE only (i think it shouldn’t be too hard to code, think of it as GR code in reverse - not working in PvM but working in PvP/WoE)

    dahil isa pang use ng GTB ay pangsolo-rape kay high wizard Katty sa BioLab wakekekeke heh

    xcited n akong makakita ng laban with expanded job class sana isali cla nung ibang players sana po gawin nyong 12 on 12 para makasali yung expanded class hehe

    Sana nga on WOE lang disabled ang GTB, and imagine its a MVP card which is very hard to get. Or maybe, the effect of GTB card is 80% less damage from magic spell in WOE. I hate to see that GTB is now just like an lce pick that u will see in market being sold. wah


  20. nakupow… lagot na…. sayang GTB Card pa lang pa naman sakin.. d ko pa man lang nagamit.. wala kac nagbebenta +10 na malalagyan sa chaos e.. pif… sana sa WoE maps lang disabled GTB Card.. btw po sir wauks.. anu po main reason dapat sya disable? ^^

    unfair un sa mga spell-only damagers such as wizards and bolter profs kung ndi ididisable un sa woe. ako naiinis na sa yabang ng mga characters na gusto ko i-SG kasi ndi cla tnatamaan.

    try being a wiz or hi wiz and sa woe try mo mag SG lvl 1 para lang madelay ung sugod ng mga kalaban makikita mo tuloy tuloy lng sila at ndi tnatamaan. pag targeted spell naman such as jupitel puro miss makikita mo.

    Ang nakaGTB walang Cranial yan kaya d n makunat kaya wag nyo maxadong silipin nagiging maxado lang kaung kawawa na GTB lang katapat nyo e kung iisipin meron pang paraan para maging pantay ang laban ng HiWiz at ng other jobs with GTB yun e kung maiisip nyo yoko n lang sabhin baka magamit pa ng iba sa mga chars ko e8

    bobo ka ba?! kya nga idi2sable kc mdali lng mkpsk ang mga GM eh.. wla nang thrill kpg enable ang gtb… kya lng kc maangas ang mga gtb kc alm nla d cla ta2maan eh.. hmm
