I know this will be hard to believe but there’s more to online games than your average hack and slash! Some gamers actually take the quests and story plots seriously and they’re the ones who put more emphasis on the “RPG” of “MMORPG”. To further develop the story and cooperative aspect of Ragnarok Online, Gravity announced that they will be implementing Instanced Quest Dungeons in Episode 12. What are Instanced Dungeons? They’re dungeons that are exclusive for the qualified groups that enter them. No other team or player will be in the dungeon except for you and your team mates. The focus of Instanced Dungeons is really team play and cooperation.

What does this mean for the pRO Community? It will pay to learn how to work together, especially when fighting against tough monsters and MVPs as a team. Once this feature is active, players will be able to test out two dungeons – the Infinity Towers and the Baphoment Seals. The Infinity Tower is similar to the Thanatos tower. There are a lot of levels to climb and players will face monsters, puzzles, and MVPs.

The Baphomet Seal Dungeon is like a preventive quest wherein players will have to fortify the ancient seals which have been supressing the evil demons locked within the dungeon. There is no available information yet about the prizes at stake if players are able to complete the quests. It’s refreshing to see new content like this being churned out by Gravity. Now, if they get around to fixing the bugs, everything would be perfect, lol. Part 5 will discuss all the other features that Gravity shared with us.
