Gaming: Ragnarok Episode 11.1 Rachel Update

Other than the Ragnarok World Championships, one of the hottest topics lately is the next major update of Philippine Ragnarok Online - Episode 11.1: Rachel (a.k.a. Arunafeltz)! Each time I bump into players, I always get asked when we will patch Rachel. They have good reason to be excited because Rachel comes with a lot of new features that I’m sure will jolt the economy a bit. I’ve already posted about the new quest headgears that will be made available and you guys should check it out as early as now because you’ll need to prepare a ton of ingredients. The Feather Beret and the Valkyrie Helmet are two items that will definitely stand out and banner the arrival of Rachel. Anyway, it’s time to answer the question. When will the patch arrive? Wanna know? Read about it after the jump.

Before we discuss the actual date, let’s talk about the major features of 11.1: Rachel. I’ve actually posted about this before but let’s have a quick rundown so everyone is on the same page. The latest patch of pRO will bring the following features:

New Map - Rachel Sanctuary
New Map - Ice Dungeon
New MVPS - Atros, Gloom, Ktullanx
New - Slot Enchanting System
New - Set Equipment
New - Quests and Headgear
Monster Spawn Changes

Rachel will actually be patched on Sakray within the next two-three weeks. Yes, it’s that soon, and yes, there will be another wipe for Sakray. The official announcement and website banners will be released early next week. If we follow the time gap between Sakray and Commercial, Rachel will probably hit main servers sometime mid-late August. You guys should start collecting the ingredients for the new headgears. I’m sure that whoever has a lot of Berets and Valkyrie Helms will make billions of zenny.

    I’m not sure, I’ll have to check. I’ll have the testing team send me screenshots while they’re testing Rachel in our internal test servers next week so you guys can get a sneak peek. @@

    malaki ba ang patch ng rachel or maliit lang madami kasi new headgears and stuff eh pasabi na lang kung gaano kalaki…. I’ll be playing also sa sakray to test some stuffs… sana maaga mabuksan ng play testers ang Rachel Sanctuary….

    considering the items needed and the difficulty in getting some of the items, i’m planning to sell one at 2B owned hahahaha. SGH will now be a thing of the past @@

    the only drawback slot enchanting a ring is that you can only wear them when you’re 90+

  11. Waaah, magmumura na lang sa mga servers ang mga slotted na weapons, headgears kasi kahit bumili ka lang sa npc tapos i-slot enchant mo pwede na, although medyo mahal din yun kasi baka mag fail, pero kahit pa papano, magiiba talaga ang economy dyan…..

  21. Bago pag-usapan yang Rachel, asan yung extra character slots na sinasabing ibibigay sa amin? Tsaka paki-ayos naman sana yung paglipat ng load from the dominant accounts to those crappy pro01 accounts.

    Nakakainis na, sa totoo lang. Two weeks na akong nag-aantay na malipat yung load sa split accounts ko, wala parin. All I’ve been getting are automated replies from custcare. Para akong nagtapon ng 200 pesos. Bleh.
