Gaming: Ragnarok Community Forum

I’m going to take the Ragnarok Challenge the Champ event a step further by turning it into a forum of sorts. It’s a good way to have a dialogue with you guys since there have been so many issues lately especially with customer service. I want things to improve, and maybe we can start from there. There won’t be a microphone set-up like a shareholder’s meeting. I’ll just be roaming around EGG and you guys can just approach me and ask away. If I can answer your question, then I’ll be more than happy to.

With regards to the resolution of your tickets, please be patient, especially those who were affected by the wipe. We can’t just give everything everyone is asking for. A lot of tickets that were filed were actually bogus claims. Also, if you’re going to file a ticket, make sure to include all the information necessary - that includes when you bought the lost item, the username, the character name, and the server. We’ve had some cases of players asking for an SGH but when we checked their logs we saw that they actually sold it via vend. That’s fraud and it will merit an automatic sanction.

I’m planning on making the bug status post on Friday. Maybe everyone can help me out already? I have a tentative list right now given to me by the GM Team but I want to know if there are more bugs that are not listed. If you know of a bug then please leave a comment here. Give it a title and write a short description of what the bug is.

    Mdmi kc ako accounts feeling ko nagkamali xia ng pagkacheck kc paikotikot equips ko sa iba’t ibang accounts.. i have more than 6 RO accounts.. for the past years.. 3 accounts per week ngaun 1 account nlng.. pero pinost ko naman kung anung account gnmit ko na pangtrade dun..

    Bug ba yan o pwede ba? Kasi mag Emergency Call cya tapos mag chase walk. Hindi makikita siya mag ecall at mmya mya nakapagecall na cya.

    Parang Portal Ecall bug… dami gumagamit nun sa Thor.

    i’ve been reading Rboards as often as i can to gather information about the bug.. coz i believe it will help my case and help prove that it exist… ksi nanghihina loob ko tuwing ma babasa ko ung reply ng CS sa ticket ko, na hindi mababalik items ko, nang dahil Untracable ang bug at rare case…

  13. tungkol dun sa no-cast-wiz. madali lang yan. dex food+10, all dex equips ng wiz~ nimble gloves + 4dex rods + isama mo na rin ung rocker card, kahit ung dex box na improv concentration level 1 (+3dex). pero sa huli’t huli nun kulang pa rin un.

    ang kailangan ay battle chant with +20 sa stats. PERO PERO base sa pic mo ay wala kang battle chant? hmm pano kaya yun? or maybe yung Marionette control scheme? kaso nasa town. hay. anyway. kudos to reaching no cast. ive done it with battle chant though and with the marionette scheme. hmm or maybe may post-processing sa pic hahaha ewan =P

    please fix the neuralizer and rebirth bug =\ THOSE WERE LOOOOONNGGG OVERDUE …. /swt


  14. See? See? And the customer tickets were read. Pero ni isang mention sa thor bots (marami ding tickets na ganun) wala! Hala cge lang… Main servers lang atupagin. Walang nagmomonitor ng thor. Bug list? Expect ko hindi na naman kasama thor dyan.

  16. Sir Waukeen, the hack/deal bug is on a rampant again on servers like Baldur, Freya and Tyr. I really have no idea how it is done but from what I’ve heard, they are using a specialized hacking tool for such actions.

    If I’m not mistaken, this is what we call in bRO “trade hack”, even if it’s more like a bug. If it’s what I’m thinking, it’s not a “specialized hacking tool”, you can do it ingame.

    Ask 1 friend to help you and another friend to be the “victim”. Try it out with them:

    1) Ask the first friend to open a trade with you. Screen pops-up, don’t accept or cancel it, leave it on the side of the screen.
    2) Go and you open a new trade with your “victim” friend, with the one you received still opened.
    3) Ask your “victim” friend to accept and to place something on the trade window.
    4) Only now, click on the first trade window, accepting it.

    Well, the effect: the trade contents already placed will not be displayed any longer, but they ARE THERE.

    What people used to do in bRO to fool players was to do all that and when the trade was “reset” by the bug, they would like “oh, take this 50k zeny to help you” and the other person would confirm the trade, losing the item, invisible but still there.

    The workaround is to cancel. You don’t lose anything from canceling. If you see this happening, just cancel the trade and no damage will be done.

    Perhaps if pRO also complains, Gravity will be convinced to fix it. But for now remember to cancel any weird trades.

    It’s a pity that such an old bug still plagues RO.

But when I checked ticket number #93YTV, it says there, Ticket 93YTV STATUS: CLOSED-INCOMPLETE. ano ba talaga gagawin ko? gagawa ba ule ako ng CS? pinaiikot kot lang ako ng CS e.

    Pakiadjust lang po yung drop rate ng Runes sa Frus and Skogul. Despite having an official drop rate of 35% NAPAKAHIRAP makapulot ng Runes sa kanila. Naka-2X drop na at naka Bubblegum na ako, out of 80-90 Frus and Skogul killed at great cost 5 Runes lang nakuha ko na dapat almost if not 100% na dapat ang drop rate ng Runes @ 4x rate >_

  38. Wauks kinda off topic but, can you do a songwriting competition to remedy the Ragnarok OST Shortage? Parang Philippine Version ng mga songs with originally composed lyrics applied to the BGMs. Kawawa kasi yung mga hindi makabili, this could be a better alternative for the shortage. :)


  39. Reply to #21. While that particular bug does exist the current problem plaguing pRO is another form of deal hack. When you go into a trade window with someone you will not be able to cancel it. The only option is for either one of you to log off. When the victim logs out everything in the trade window would go to the “hacker”


  40. i think sa baldur din meorn issue sa drops, kac nung nagtest ako para mag sage, naghunt ako ng animal skin dun sa morroc(baby desert wolf), inabot ako ng almost 30 mins bago ako nakakuha ng isa… that was 2 weeks ago, d ba normal drop lang un?? about 30 - 40% ata drop rate nun(nkita ko sa rocards.de)

    uu nga nakakatakot ung bagong deal hack, nakakatakot na nga mamili dahin sa dupe equips, tapos e2 pa deal hack…. gm pls pakiaus po…

    Card to be used: Evil Cloud Hermit Card (Add the chance of gaining ‘Black Cloud’ item each time a Plant monster is killed.)

    tapos pabless ka at gamit ka nung food na +10 dex.

    compared sa stat mo kulang pa ako ng +4. now. upon checking sa cards and equip list ang paraan lang to do it is through the MERMAN card SET na magdadagdag ng DEX+3. PERO PERO, magtatanggal ako nun ng isang drops card (+1) and isang zerom card (+3) so naBAWASAN pa ako o_O. hrgggghh! hahaha =P
