Gaming: Ragnarok Chaos Server Update 4.22.07 (4:37PM)

We’ve been getting a lot of reports lately that several maps in the Chaos server keep going up and down. This is probably an aftershock of the 3-day downtime. I’ve already called Gravity and the IT team as early as yesterday to inform them about this development and for them to come up with a fix to stabilize the server. This is really turning out to be one hellish week for the community and Level-up. If there is any development on their end, I will post another update.

I’ve also been getting a lot of requests to add game time to the compensation package. It’s understandable because a lot of people in Chaos are already level 99 and only play when they siege. I’ll discuss this with upper management but I can’t really give any guarantees. If they approve, then I will quickly post here for everyone to see.

Lastly, I’d just like to request for everyone to post comments only on topics that are related to your actual comment. Please remember that this is not an official Level-up blog, it is actually more of a personal thing for me and I would rather you guys spare the non-related posts with spam comments. In line with this, I’ll be deleting spam and non-related comments in the various posts. I hope you understand.

    yeah, its really one helluva of a week for Level up and Chaos citizens. Hope the problem resolved as soon as possible because this is really frustrating and for sure many players pissed off at this inconvenience. muha


  2. i hope you succeed in getting our gametime back, this will be a big achievement in your part, because this is what we players wanted as the primary compensation and because this is what we paid for…

  4. During the heritage patch it was Urdr server who is having lots of downed maps which people call the midnight habit. Then I think it went to Lydia or Fenrir. Now it’s Chaos with map problems. I wonder what’s next…

  6. sir wauk what time po ma oopen ung prontera kasi po lahat ng mga characters ko ay nanduun lahat… sob2 isa nanaman itong kasayangan ng load sa ragna sumula umaga hanggang ngyun ng tanghali hintay po mag-open ung map at higit sa lahat sayang ung exp..minsan lang magka times nagloloko pa server den ung map..confirm na po ba ung x3 sa april 25??

  25. Hmm.. Good luck with the patch-up work. I just wish, along with some of the other players, that LU would consider increasing the exp modification dates for the Chaos Server because of the following:

    1. x2 Exp started on April 18 - The EXP mod would have been okay if the server started on the same date as well. Sadly it didn’t and its a bit unfair to the Chaos People since we weren’t able to somewhat partake of it.

    Answer: x3 Exp Mods exclusively for Chaos. ( Which in a way is good. )

    2. Chaos was fixed during Saturday but apparently, MOST of the Maps were DOWN, especially Prontera, where MOST of the Characters were based, hence the massive complaints @_@” regarding the load.

    Answer: Would it be possible for LU to provide an appropriate compensation for the massive load loss?

    Saving up to buy load for the game isn’t easy for most players since summer vacation has rolled in and allowance-wise, most are broke or have saved and loaded up for them to fully make-use of their summer vacation.

    It would really be appreciated if LU would consider this things. ^^


  26. Basta sir ang important eh yung load almost 4 days na yan lahat naman tayu lahat ng ginagastos naten dapat may patutunguhan. Pag di pumayag mga nasa itaas na yan mamatay na sila mga mukhang pera. Thanks sir wauks sa lahat ng tulong mu samin.

    not only a modified exp but also double the drop rates. it has been a big hell in chaos recently.


  28. Sir Waukeen anu nangyari sa MVP Summoning Event? Nasa Bora na ba lahat ng mga GM kaya kinalimuntan? Sayang naman po yung 1 and a half hour na naghintay kami sa Hugel.


  29. sob2 hey wauks, we do understand that this blog is for your own personal purposes, although I would also like to stress the fact that you are from LU now, and you’re the only person we can turn to ask questions about the hellish status of the game right now.

    I hope your efforts bear fruits, and if possible, our gametime to be returned. I understand that it may not be possible under the terms and conditions. But under the circumstances, if they’d put themselves in our shoes, we do hope the big bosses can make an exception.

    fortunately on my part, 2 weeks pa natitira sa 500 load ko e4 pero kahit na ganun, nanghihinayang pa rin ako sa game time na nasayang. binayaran ko un kaya dpat lang na masulit ko ang pera ko. tinipid ko sarili ko sa paggastos nung may pasok pa sa skul para lang makaipon ng pangload muha malamang gn2 rin ang nararamdaman ng karamihan e5

  42. mas maganda kung mabalik yung game time, sayang talaga. dapat may mod exp din kasi it seems pretty evident that chaos characters were not able to benefit from the mod exp, at least majority. Pero sana mabalik yung game time, SANA lang ! sob2

    Pagkainput mo ng answer sa secret question mo, try mo iclick yung submit button sa baba. Wag yung enter key. Yung sa akin kasi ganyan nangyari. Pag enter key, paulit ulit lang tinatanong yung answer pero nung click ko submit, gumana bigla.


  44. Odin server kelan aayusin ng LU(or may plano pa ba ausin)???? down un ibang maps from 1:30AM-5PM, kninang 7:30PM nasira na nman until now ^^

  51. Sir Waukeen sa IRIS po kami. Na-delay po sobra yung event. I think halos 8 na nagstart tapos nag announce sila mga 5 minutes lang before the event. It takes forever to get to Hugel (crappy ass airships). Sana naman maaga palang nag announce na kung ma-dedelay. Thanks for the reply.

  54. rather given us game time,what if nxt week much higher than x3. why?. For me because this week is sopose to b e x2 right? and nxt week will be x1 or normal. so if you add them its x3. if im not mistaken BUT the only prob is OUR LOAD FOR THIS WEEK BECAUSE OF THE SERVER DOWN!!!!!
