  • Gaming: Ragnarok 2 Yoko Kanno Concert

    Gravity is already starting their marketing efforts for Ragnarok 2: Gate of the World in South Korea. As most of you guys know, Yoko Kanno is the one doing the soundtrack for RO2. She’s the person behind the engaging OST of premium anime titles like Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in a Shell. To push RO2 in Korea, Gravity brought Yoko Kanno to Seoul for a major RO2 promotional concert! I’m not really sure if we can do that for the Philippines but I’ll at least ask how much is her talent fee, hehe. Anyway, I found some clips of the concert in YOUTUBE, as well as the commercial teaser that they used to promote the concert. Watch the videos after the jump.

      anyway, if yoko were to perform like that here no one would attend/listen/stay… as promotions… better be released as OST’s or background music in conventions… the music is relaxing… nice.

      ano kayang bago sa darating na maintenance? sana maayos na ang mga lag/latency problems. sana ma-optimize na ulit ang mga servers para makapaglaro na ulit ng maayos at masaya. hindi yung naglalaro ka na nga lang, nakukunsumi ka pa.

      Guys, while I appreciate your feedback, please try to be on-topic on the threads. Gravity is the one who fixes bugs, if I can do it myself then I would. No company in the serious mind would prolong problems. I blog because this is a good way for me to reach out to everyone and I believe that I’ve achieved that because I’m more in tune to everyone’s needs and wants.

      I guess it just can’t be helped that blogs like this get flooded with comments, especially when there are problems. Anyway, just so to keep everything focused, I’ll be making a separate blog for Ragnarok 2. It’s time to go domain shopping, hehe.

      If you do manage to pull off a Yokko Kanno concert, you should have a big projection monitor showing scenes of the game. But the scenes are captured from people playing the game right at the concert.

      You can probably pay for the concert if you auction off the chance to play the game in a live concert with the background music. It will literally be the chance of a life time.
