When you listen to the background sounds of the game you’re player, do you ever stop and pause to wonder how much effort actually goes in to making a soundtrack for an MMORPG? For the first RO, SoundTemp was the one who made most of the songs and they really have a digital feel to it. It’s nice though because I’ve actually heard Prontera ring tones before, hehe. For Ragnarok Online 2, the soundtrack was made by none other than Yoko Kanno. She’s the one behind the background themes of the classic anime – Cowboy Bebop. Anyway, Yoko will be having a promotional Ragnarok 2 concert in Korea. Here’s the teaser that i found on YOUTUBE. Maybe it’s time to make Chixilog 2, hehe.

I think they’re putting a lot of effort promoting this because er… that’s the way to do it? Hehe. They’d be stupid not to because they’ve invested so much in terms of development already.
