Gaming: Ragnarok 2 Job System

As requested I’m posting more stuff again on Ragnarok 2: Gate of the World. I’ll briefly discuss the new job system that will be implemented for Ragnarok 2 but before we get into that I would just like to answer some questions that keep on popping up in my blog. First, Ragnarok 2 is different from Ragnarok 1. Your characters will not be transferred because these are two different games. Next, I’d like to assure everyone that RO1 will continue because there’s really no reason for it not to. RO1 has its own community and identity. Okay, now that we have that out of the way, I’d like to share some information with everyone about the Ragnarok Online 2 Job System.

In normal MMORPGs, you just level your basic level and maybe you’ll have some skill points that you get. After you reach the max level, that’s the end. You’ll end up spending your time grinding or re-making a new character. In RO2 that changes completely. There’s a character level and a job level. While there is a cap for the character level, you can actually keep on switching jobs and guess what - you keep the skills of the previous job you had! That means you can customize your character to your heart’s content. You won’t be limited by the restrictions of a specific job that you’re planning on playing. The screenshot below is a sample of a swordsman firing off a devastating Lightning Bolt which is primarily a magic spell.

    Yep okay dyan.. Sa US din ako nakatira. Dyan ako kumukuha ng RO load. Mabilis nila i-email yun Ragnarok E-pin mo. Pinakamatagal na yun 2 days.

    Baket po ganun ung character ko sa FREYA bigla na ban? Nag timegap character ko while I was just standing around tapos pagrelog ko AUTOBAN? Samantala ung mga novices na nag drodrop ng BOSSCARDs for hours wala nangyayari? And another thing…hindi ba 24/7 yung service nyo? Baket wala kahit isang bantay na VANGUARD during the graveyard shift? Kahit ba IT wala? How come wala pa nakakaalam until now ung kagulan na nangyari sa FREYA?

    i know this is way off topic, and you are probably busy over more important things, but almost 3rd week of june na po and still wala paring new updates sa agit lords scores. other than that, wala pa rin news about the RPC wild cards. i hope someone from the GM team could attend to this asap. thanks.

    WE ARE NOT SURE WHO DROPPED THE BOSS CARDS ON DIFFERENT CITY OF PRO. LOTS OF BOSS CARDS!

    IS THIS THE END OF RAGNAROK?

    MORETHAN 1000 BOSS CARDS HAS BEEN DROPPED. WE CANT DETECT THE PLAYER EVEN WE USED RUWACH. BAPHO, TURTLE GENERAL, TAO GUNKA, MISTRESS CARD, GR CARD, DEVELING AND ETC.

    Walang winner dito, Why?

    1. Pinahihirapan nyo LU mag detect ng Dupe Items.
    2. Dahil sa pinahihirapan nyo ang LU, rollback aabutin nyo tuloy.
    3. Sayang ang load, wala namang Free Time Compensation.

    This is no flame or whatsoever.
    I Hope this will resolve ASAP.

    From what I heard, when you change from, for example, Swordsman to an Enchanter, isn’t it that you can only use the Shared Skills that the Swordsman provides? Or is it all the skills? =/

  48. ang pagkaka-alam ko ung dupe ata sa mga server natin eh lapses ng program or bug.. kaya programmer talaga ang makakapag ayos nito.
    kung sino man dyan na nakaka-alam kung paano mag dupe. paki surrender na po kung paano nyo ginagawa para masulusyunan ng mga programmers. kasi nawawala na ung balance ng game eh… kawawa naman ung mga naghihirap sa pa level or hunt…

    Baldur naman nagkaka crashed maps, ibig sabihin magagaya na sa Freya ang Baldur.. Magkasabwat ata kayo eh, mga GM at mga duppers.. Obvious naman dati na may GM na nagbebenta ng zeny at nagpapa edit ng character, kaya di malabo rin na magkakaroon ng GM na kasabwat ng mga duppers..

    Mas frequent lang siguro sa Bayantel pero it just proves na may ginawa sila sa server nung maintenance na nagiging cause neto!
