Since the Level-up Elevation Trade Launch, a lot of gamers and internet cafe owners have been asking me when Ragnarok Online 2 will launch here in the Philippines. I actually had my doubts that we could launch it this year, especially since Gravity is taking such a long time in developing the game. However, for the first time I can confidently say that we will see pRO2 this year! Read on to find out what happened this morning.
The following is a short transcript of my MSN chat with Kay, the Gravity point person for pRO2:

When you say english client, it means script?
If so, I will contact RO2 team and ask current situation
This means that I’ll be one of the very first pinoy gamers to try out Ragnarok Online 2 (in english too, haha)! I’ll get screenshots and videos so that I can share it here with everyone. The sad news is that we still don’t have a formal launch date. Hopefully I can have that ironed out with Kay this week.

and translated in english too… though it is not official.. but the essence of RO2 is still there..

Wauks would be one of the first to play on the first official english server. Good for him! Yey! I have been playing RO2 on Korean official server and i’ve been havin a blast. What’s cool about this game now is you can change from any job you want anytime as long as your job lvl is over 5! Character ko ay Swordsman na Magician! hehe!
Btw, kung gusto nyo makita mga available na helmets sa RO2, meron ako sa blog ko. click nyo lang ang name ko Ragnarok2SeaGamers sa taas. hehe.

i was happy that time that I was part of the 2000 participants that was chosen for the close beta last December 2006, the beta stress test is only 3 days… that time the game was real laggy for many koreans were all excited to play… then there goes the 2nd where 5000 chosen players will be chosen, and then I’m still part of it until the 3rd which was april to may 06… until they released the open beta which was real buggy… that time i tried the RO2 japanese version, which is quite good too… since i know the language, it didnt bother to me not playing… instead i enjoy playing… and until now… im paying it…
