I was checking out the various Ragnarok blogs and it was great to see that Doddler wrote something new about the latest cards that were released in kRO Sakray! These cards are all part of Episode 12 which we will hopefully launch in the Philippines sometime next year. What’s cool about the Cards feature in Ragnarok is that it has the capability to change the metagame, especially with builds and the roles of certain job classes. For example, when the Tao Gungka card came out, the Sacrifice Paladin suddenly became a monstrous force to reckon with. My thoughts on the new cards and the list after the jump.
Here’s an example of one of the cooler cards – Salamander. It increases damage of the Meteor Storm and Fire Pillar by 40%. The card can be compounded in a muffler. It’s high time that Fire Wizards get a boost! The only spell I see being cast in War of Emperium is Storm Gust. Another cool card for Wizards is the Agav – which can be compounded on the Armor. It gives +5% MATTACK, -10 Def, and +100 SP. Throw in an Issila card in your headgear for another cool bonus – INT +2 and there’s a small chance that you get a 50% cast time reduction each time you cast a magic spell! The most devastating one would be the MVP card – Fallen Bishop Hibram which you compound on your shoes. Why? It’s +10 MATTACK, -50% SP, and it deals 50% more magical damage to Demi-humans! Truly a OMGWTFBBQ combo.

Another powerful card is the Ilfrit card (MVP) which increases your atk, crit & hit by your job level and a chance to autocast lvl2 earthquake.
