MMOSITE.COM is the leading international MMORPG website and they’ve partnered with Philippine Ragnarok Online for their 2nd Year Anniversary! MMOSITE was also kind enough to offer a banner exchange with me here at Waukster Online for their Ragnarok 2 section. Anyway, if you’re not too busy and you want to catch up on the latest MMORPG news, just head on over to their site. Right now they’re having a web-based event wherein you can win Ragnarok in-game items. It’s really easy and you stand to win a Flying Angel, Big Buns, and Chinese Helmets.
Here are the mechanics as written in their site:
Event Rules
1. The event will begin June 13 through July 13, 2007;
2. We will run a random drawing to decide who will receive the prizes;
3. We will announce the result on July 20, 2007 and the prizes will be send out afterwards
4. Each winner can receive prizes of more than one game, but only one prize for each game;
5. Each correct answer will win the participant a chance to be selected in the random drawing, the more questions you answer correctly for a particular game, the higher chance you will win the prize of that game.
6. The Best 25 Answerers and Top 25 Participants will be deemed to receive a prize, both virtual item and mmogold.
7. We will carefully check every winner’s score before sending him/her prize. Anyone found cheating in the event will be dispualified from the event.
And here are the prizes at stake:
Ragnarok Online: 31 winners
1. First Place prizes (x1): FLYING ANGEL HEADGEAR;
2. Second Place prizes (x10): CHINESE CROWN HEADGEAR
3. Third Place prizes (x15): BIG BUN BOX
To avoid confusion though I think MMOSITE should indicate there that the promo only applies to Philippine Ragnarok Online players. Since they’re an international site they might have complaints from other countries who joined the event and end up getting no prizes because they’re actually part of a different Ragnarok community.
