    The community leaders of Philippine Ragnarok Online’s Freya Server have organized a PVP Tournament and they’re really doing their best to promote the event. They sent me the link of their trailer and I was really impressed with the quality of their work. They’ve even documented the fights and they turned it into Game Music Videos (GMV). All the videos I’m sharing now are made by Maveriem. Full credits go to her.

    Guys, please note that this is a player-organized event. Don’t file tickets if there are any complaints regarding this tournament. Don’t get me wrong though, I fully support player-initiated events. I’m pretty sure though that they’re organized and they’ll give the appropriate prizes to the winners.

      Our semi-finals and finals are going to be held this Friday and Saturday. Try having something like this in your server. It builds a feeling of community and everyone ends up having a great time. :)

      Ako rin may problema din sa myLU ko eh. Dito lang ako sa bahay naglalaro tapos pag login ko sa myLU ko incorrect password daw tapos pag forgot password ko sa myLU account ko di sinesend sa registered email ng myLU ko. Kulang nalang ma hack RO account ko eh.

      Sir Wauks pano ba to solusyunan? Kelangan ko pa daw magpadala ng notarized copy sa office ng LU sa Makati para lang ma unlink ung account ko. Di ba pedeng mag send nalang ako ng ticket para sa case ko tapos bibigay ko info ng account ko at myLU account ko. Baka pwede naman po tulungan nyu ako. Gustong gusto ko talaga gumamit ng food buffs pero di naman natratrade.

      Baka pwede sau ko po send ung info ng RO account ko at info ng myLU account since buo po tiwala ko sau Sir Wauks. /hp

      @shagojyo.. nakuwa ko n pass ko hehe.. may gag0ng nagforgot pass gamit yung username ko.. :e1: pero natanggap ko n ung mail :heh: kaya ok n aq.. matagal pa kc bago mo maReceive yung pass sa mail hehe :heh: problema ko nalang kung gmitin n naman nya username ko sa pagforgot pass ng account nya kung sino man unnn :pif:

      @Baldur Siegers: We’re fully aware of the problem and since the Gravity Engineers are here, we’ve delegated it to them to fix it together with our ICT Team. Official statement already up on the Ragnarok website.

      kasama po sa rules na yung spectators may designated places lang kung san sila pwede watch or else ma kill sila ng marshalls. /heh buti nga sumunod yung mga tao eh maski papano.

      Two thumbs up to Freya server. The organizers for injecting life with the event, the participating guilds for being good sports and the onlookers for more or less abiding by the rules (especially when the match is underway).

      I’m not familiar with events from other servers but imho what made the freya cup successful are: the organizers really thought things through, the coummunity showed respect by lending its support and accepting the outcome, the battle mechanics are simple and brutal (small clash area, no hide & seek, matira matibay) and although only a number of guilds can compete, all you need is a 90+ character to participate as an onlooker (may audience participation /heh).

      If you liked that (mga usi sa prontera) you’d also like the first match at Alberta, where the audience were confined to such a small area hindi maiwasan mag rumble din sila for frontline seats. And yes, the audience gets stunned and frozen together with the contestants. That’s audience participation for you /heh!

      I read sa update ng Freya Cup, supported na ren sila ni GM Cassiel. Astig talaga, more power to the organizers and sana maging role model kayo. Sa ibang server kase, inaatupag ung center stage agad. Kakatapos lang ng RPC 07, gusto na agad spotlight stage for RPC 08 hahayz… Napatunayan ko na ren na mei mga VANGUARD pa pala.. go GM Cassiel

      I guess ginawa nila to for fun and to make their community a better place. Kahit weak pwede makihalubilo sa iba. As usual sa ibang server, pag mahina ka di ka pwede makipag friends sa malalakas.

      Mukhang mapapalipat na nga ako sa Freya..

      grabe! kinilabutan ako while watching all the videos! I miss my guild in chaos server. Now I am playing again in Valkyrie, lalo ako na inspired na magpalakas ng sobra. I wanna be part of super guild war! hehehe ^__^

      sa Baldur kasi, parang gang wars. If you don’t belong to a known pvp guild, chances are, you won’t last 5 seconds in the room.
