FlyFF Brand Manager Speaks About FlyFF V7
The first flying and free-to-play MMORPG is going to have a major update this coming March 28, 2007. Fly for Fun V7: Cloud Crusin’ sets out to meet the needs of the players for new monsters, items, and dungeons. I compiled most of the questions I saw in the FlyFF forums and asked them to FlyFF Brand Manager Sherevar. By the way guys, I’ve scheduled CM Atma and BM Sherevar for a LU Yosi Break Session soon, so watch out for that one! :)
Wauks: When is V7 coming out?
Sherevar: The main servers (Bubble, Shade, and Iblis) will be be updated to FlyFF v7: Cloud Cruisin’ on March 28, 2007. If you have CDs or installer files for v7, do NOT upgrade your client until that day. This is very important!
Wauks: Where can we get CDs? Can we download it?
Sherevar: Yes, and yes! Our CDs will be distributed all across the archipelago, so check for availability at your neighborhood internet cafe. If the cafe sports one of our new FlyFF v7 posters or tarpoulines, chances are they’ll have CDs available. Users may also download the FlyFF v7 installer or the v6-to-v7 updater in our brand spanking new website! Watch out for that on March 21, a week before FlyFF v7 launches!
Wauks: What are the main features of V7?
Sherevar: FlyFF v7 answers the call of players for new and exciting content. It’ll have new FlyFF Shop items, armor sets, and of course new challenges to keep FlyFF players enjoying our game. The new Evillis dungeon packs new creatures and quests for the mainstream levels, giving the majority of players more places to adventure in. There will also be gameplay improvements such as a new skill system, and various other enhancements to make playing FlyFF all the more fun!
Wauks: Will we have a V7 Limited Edition CD?
Sherevar: Yes, there is a FlyFF v7 Limited Edition CD (released in very limited quantities, of course ^_^;). It will come with a cute poster and an immensely valuable in-game item! Check out our website for announcements on what possible items you can get, and where the Limited CDs will be available.
Wauks: What are your plans for FlyFF this year?
Sherevar: Our beloved FlyFF community has grown a great deal since last year, and we’re just going to get bigger and better in 2007. We’ll have more events, more EBs, more promos and competitions for any and every kind of FlyFFer! Simply visit our website and join our forums to get a slice of the fun pie!

You praised Barty for doing a lot for Flyff, and I very much agree with that… but you said nothing about me even though I’m the one who programmed the skill calc.

oh shucks! Will that be the poster for the v7? Its really appealing! When will elementors be featured in posters :( .. anyway.. is the New new skill system final? It is still unfair for the assists :( hay.. anyway, I will just spam my assist.. hehe.. I’m looking forward to several events and ebs this summer. I hope to meet you soon sir.. ^_^

with this new installer, will we get errors if we uninstall the game and reinstall? code error for example, just like the v5 to v6 problems before.

When i Was the Updater was updating my game(im not sure if this the correct way) It said ERROR file not found
note: I updated it during the maintenance

Sorry For the Double post but the server maintenance was the one on march 28 and people say The updater/full installer is corrupted is this true?
And Im not sure where to download the installer to (im clueless XD)
So could You give me a COMPLETE guide on the patch downloading please

There’s a CRC error on the full installer, but you can run it with the /NCRC option.
But then again the game wont patch, let’s wait till tomorrow, maybe they are still doing something on the server
