I made a very personal blog post about my birthday and I’d also like to invite you guys to read it. Here’s an excerpt:

This year was undoubtly one of the most exciting, happiest, saddest, and craziest year I’ve ever had. To those who don’t know, I turned 26 years old yesterday, July 21. Looking back, I can’t help but smile and wonder at how much life has changed in 1 year. Yes, there have been a lot of problems and trials, but I’ve always believed that there’s always light at the end of the tunnel. Thank God that I was able to keep my sanity during the most troubling parts and I was able to come out as a better and more focused person than ever before.

Please remember that I’m not a professional video editor so this was crudely done on my Macbook using iMovie. Maybe when I get more free time I’ll study how to use Movie Maker, hehe.

Anyway, if you watched the video, you’ll know that Guildless (Coalescence) won the first day. They’ll be fighting the day 2 champion and we’ll have our NCR representative later tonight. In terms of strategy, most of the guilds were using more damage dealers this time around (SINX) and they still prioritized taking out the Professor of the opposing team. It looks like that will be a standard strategy even in succeeding regional tournaments.

Complete the Blue Cards R.O.K. O.N. and get this:

Poring Cake Hat
A special hat created to celebrate 5th year anniversary of RO in the Philippines (item feature will disappear after September 30, 2008)
MDEF, CRIT, FLEE, Perfect Dodge +5
ASPD +5%
Reduces Cast Time by 5%
Skill Delay reduced by 5%
Def: 5

Mechanics:

1. 5 Vanguards will be situated in 5 towns holding the Blue Card Letters R.O.K. O.N.
Vanguard 1: Holding Letter R blue card.
Vanguard 2: Holding 2pcs Letter O blue cards.
Vanguard 3: Holding letter K blue card.
Vanguard 4: Holding letter N blue card.
Vanguard 5: Redeeming Station. Players will trade the ROK ON Cards for the Poring Cake Hat.

2. Answer the trivia question each Vanguard is displaying on his Chat Room and enter the answer on the Chat room’s password field. Trivia Questions will be announced during the event.
3. If player was able to enter, it means the trivia question was answered correctly.
4. Get the Blue Card from the Vanguard and proceed to the next Vanguard for the other letters.
5. Complete the Letters R.O.K. O.N. Once complete, you may now claim your FREE Poring Cake Hat from Vanguard 5. Please exchange ROK ON Cards for Poring Cake Hat.

Note: GM Names of Vanguard 1 – 5, map names of destinations and trivia questions will be revealed on the day of the event via in-game announcement. Players MUST complete the 5 Cards (R.O.K. O.N.) until 7 pm ONLY.
