I just came home from the Philippine Blog Awards, which Ragnarok sponsored, and it was great meeting the popular blogging icons of the Philippines like Yuga, Jayvee, and Kiven. I also had the opportunity to meet the HR Manager of SM Supermalls, Sonnie, who happens to be a blogger as well. To say that the diversity of the people at the event would be an understatement. Bloggers from all walks of life flocked to RCBC and celebrated the growth of the local blogosphere. Read on for some of my comments about the event.
Anyway, the event could have been better in terms of production and logistics, but you really can’t blame the organizers because they weren’t professional events management people. The event was made by bloggers who didn’t have training to mount and host something as big as this, but it was really a good effort. Hopefully next year will be bigger and better. If I’m still blogging by that time I’d probably volunteer to help. 
Let’s take a breather from all the Ragnarok stuff, especially the Server Merge topic. I’ll try to post something about Ragnarok Online 2 and probably something about Perfect World a little later.
Oh yeah – just check their website for the list of winners once they update it. I wrote the winners down on a piece of paper but I seem to have misplaced it. Wah. XD
