As posted on the Level Up Website, we’re gunning for the launch of the new patch this April. I can’t give a date yet since we’re really not yet 100% sure on what week we can release it but we’re confident that it will go live this month. To further promote the patch, the GM Team came up with an in-game event that revolves around the story of Dusk Palace.

Here are the mechanics as posted on the Perfect World website:

Background Story:

The Jade Emperor Justice has learned of the Dusk Palace s existence. Without informing any of the other deities, he has taken it upon himself to investigate, bringing only his band of personal guards, off he went into the unknown.

During his exploration he discovered powerful weapons, armors and items that filled him with awe, wishing to try out the equipment he begins donning the items.

This discovery came at a cost however as he unknowingly disturbed the long forgotten evil creatures of the dark that lived there.

In their anger at being disturbed, they cursed the jade emperor, filling every fabric and material of his newly discovered armor with anger and hatred, he soon found himself in a blind rage. His consciousness became twisted, the curse creating a berserker within him.

Mad with anger and power, he along with his faithful royal guards became doomed to forever destroy all in their sight.

Hence the emperor went on a rampage that continues to this day. The only way to stop him is to remove the cursed armor he currently wears.

Citizens of a Perfect World we beseech you to help save our Jade Emperor!

Eligibility:

All players are eligible to join this event as long as PK is activated.

Event Schedule:

April 11 and 12- Between 5PM – 9PM

Server Restrictions:

Tiger and Dragon Server only

Mechanics:

* The possessed Jade Emperor with his faithful immortals will roam across the land and hunt for players that are PK enabled
* Once the event has begun it will be announced by the “sane” deities along with the possessed Jade Emperors and his royal guards location.
* The possessed entourage will kill all who is in PK mode and summon monsters to aid their cause.
* Participants are encouraged to knock out the possessed entourage to remove the cursed items they are wearing.
* All monster, player and GM drops are up for grabs to the player who deals the killing blow. In other words, player and monster kill rules apply.
* Every time GM Justice gets knocked out hell move to another location.
* If the player successfully kills the Villain he will get a prize and an announcement will be broadcasted over the server.
* The event will end once all the items he has in his inventory has been dropped.

Event Rules:

* A player that is not on PK mode will lose his/her chance to win the event
* Party member and/or clan member are allowed to help during the battle. But only one person may win.
* In the event that clans and parties try to mob the Killer GM, the GM will summon monsters to protect him from mobbing players.
* If a player kills the GM and is not an eligible entry from the GMs level bracket. He or she will get no prize.
* GM team will not be responsible for items lost due to death by PK .
* Violators of the Mandate of Heaven will not be tolerated.
* GMs will not answer any inquiries and questions while running the event.
