Dumbledore is Gay - J.K. Rowling
In what could only be called as the most controversial gay revelation in fantasy novels, J.K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series, recently revealed that Dumbledore was gay. She answered some questions in an event in New York and one question dealt with Dumbledore’s true love. According to Rowling, Dumbledore was smitten with his long time rival - Gellert Gridenwald.

If you think about it deeply maybe that’s why Dumbledore was really interested in Harry Potter, hehe. The Hogwarts Headmaster might have had a thing for little young boys too. Anyway, some quotes after the jump.
After reading briefly from the final book, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” she took questions from audience members.
She was asked by one young fan whether Dumbledore finds “true love.”
“Dumbledore is gay,” the author responded to gasps and applause.
She then explained that Dumbledore was smitten with rival Gellert Grindelwald, whom he defeated long ago in a battle between good and bad wizards. “Falling in love can blind us to an extent,” Rowling said of Dumbledore’s feelings, adding that Dumbledore was “horribly, terribly let down.”
Dumbledore’s love, she observed, was his “great tragedy.”
“Oh, my god,” Rowling concluded with a laugh, “the fan fiction.”
Maybe if the author of LOTR was still alive he’d make a revelation as well with Frodo and Sam. Those two hobbits are definitely gay, hehe.

Seems the young kiddy theme of the first Harry Potter (the book not the character) has turned into a young adult theme. Oh well, the kids who started out are also young adults now X_x.

I’m thinking it’s a joke? Or it’s just Rowling making an issue to let Harry Potter not die down in the current pop culture scene. I have nothing against Rowling, I’m actually a fan of Harry Potter but that’s what I suspect what with the issue she created about that castle created based on Hogwarts school in some country for a festival. She sued them just for that =/
