    Dragon Age Origins

    I’ve been playing Dragon Age: Origins on PS3 for the past few days and I just have to say that this game is such a blast! It’s been a while since I last played an offline RPG and I don’t regret shelling out P2,100 for this one. Other than having awesome game play, it also breaks the mold of most standard medieval RPG worlds. For example, most RPGs would put a premium of the Elf race. For Dragon Age: Origins, elves are actually the slave race. Mages, which are usually feared and dominating, are like caged prisoners , under threat from the Templars which can just slaughter all of them.

    More than anything though, the plot is so intense and grand that it just sucks you in the story. You really feel like you’re the main character. This is by far the only game that I actually make it a point to talk to all the NPCs not because I want to get free stuff or there’s a hidden quest, I just want to talk to them because it’s fun! :)

    Oh, the tactics involved in the fights are also topnotch.
