All those who are up in arms either are way too sensitve or just bored. The facts are yes the filipinos make up a good size in the health care industry in the US, but be honest here.. if they are so talented why not utilze that talent back in the Philippines instead of immediately trying to go abroad to practice your skills. So many in the petition are so proud to be pinoy but I'll bet you over 1/3 of them who signed left the Philippines to work. so much for filipino pride. You don't see american doctors in milllions going abroad to practice.. they stay home and help their nation. Bottom line is that filipinos need to get over it. Devote more time with petitions to GMA and all politicians to find a viable way to keep their greatest resourse(its people)home instead of looking outside the country. I don't see a petition for that. The comment that filipinos are all over the world is not a postive thing.. it just says that many leave to work elsewhere.. that is sad.
