    As a Marketing Manager for Level Up, you can’t avoid talking to gamers with various concerns. I often get e-mail or sometimes even SMS messages from players asking for my help in resolving their cases pending at Customer Support. There’s this one case that really stood out though – and it really caught my attention because of how sad and how unique the story was. I asked permission to publish his e-mail here in the blog and the gamer agreed. So guys, I share with you Ramir’s story about gaming, love, and hacking. Read his letter to me after the jump.

    Kuya, papatulong sana ako kasi na-hack po ako nung isang linggo. Ang malungkot po dun is hindi lang po items nawala sakin, pati na rin GF ko. Galit na galit kasi siya pag nag-raragna ako. Isang beses pumunta ako meeting para sa negosyo tapos yung GF ko hindi naniwala. Nag log-in pa siya gamit character na pinahiram ko paratingnan dahil siege time. Ayun, nakita niya nga character ko. Tumawag sakin bigla tapos pinagalitan ako, at sinabi niya mas mahal ko pa Ragnarok kesa sa kanya. At dahil dun, brineak niya ako. T_T

    Ang malala dito kuya, hindi talaga ako yung naglalaro nun. Hinahack pala ako ng p*** kong pilot. Hayzzz. BUhay nga naman talaga noh? Nakaka bwiset!!!

    Sir Wauks, baka pwede nyo ako tulungan sa Customer SUpport ninyo. Baka pwede nila ibalik gamit ko. Alam ko di na ako babalikan ni Mylene, pero sana ibalik na lang ng Level Up sakin character ko sa Midgard.

    Ramir, my advice to you is to balance your life man. Don’t fall into gaming 100%. I think you have your priorities messed up since you’ve given up already on Mylene and you’d rather put your energies on getting your character back. Dude – go after the girl. She matters more in the long run. :)

      di nga daw sya ung naglalaro nung time na un, kundi yung hacker na pilot nya. well bad parin, cguro nagpalusot na dati para makalaro ng ragna kaya di na naniwala gf nya. isipin mo nalang bagong lesson yan ng life. baka sign narin yan kaya ka nahack, para magising ka at bigyan mo naman ng time yung mga mas mahalaga, gaya ng gf mo… hehe. :)

      damn..is there a suicide hotline here in the phils? >,< seriously this guy is screwed.. he must be so depressed @_@ and to think he’s still hoping his hacked items could be retrieved..its his word against LUG’s say on handling ur accnts..there’s no way lug would entertain hack cases, db dati pa..sana lang he would come into his senses na bumalik at humingi ng tawad sa gf nya..goodluck to him

      Ang labo ha.. pinacheck nya sa GF nya ung char nya knowing that he has a pilot.. In the first place, paano magiging proof yung pagiging OL ng char nya kung may pilot sya? Anyway.. this one’s an odd way of losing a girlfriend.. Napaka-babaw ng dahilan.. and the guy’s giving up on her, but not on the hacked items! geesh..

      Baka pina-hack sya ng GF nya sa pilot nya para tumigil na. Tapos di pa nasiyahan yung GF kaya iniwan pa sya sabay sabi ng “Lintik lang ang walang ganti!” Ang malupet dyan pag nakita nya yung pilot nya at GF nya na sila na. Binenta PHP yung na-hack sa kanya para may pang-date sila. AW! Hahaha!

      dnt blame the game. its the management fault. very slow management thats madmai nag quit sa pro..they just let it go cases like these. so what happened to the player? life goes on with his miserable life. such this games have great impact in every hardcore player and normal players of ragnarok. ever since the game started . inde na mawawala ang hacking. that the way it is…..

      hehe mahirap pag di magets ng gf mo kung bakit di ka makahinto ng kakalaro, too bad lalo pag di mahilig sa games ung girl.
      ung gf ko, sa ragna ko nakilala, sabay kami naadik, sabay din kami nagquit. ngayon magkasama na kami irl at di na nagraragna… PW naman heheh, pero isang char lang ginawa naminm salit-salit lang sa paglalaro para iwas adik mode. :D

      Ako yung bf ko hiniwalayan ko dahil sa ragna. madami nman kasing ibang lalaki dyan ang ragna mawawala din in the long run at tsaka nlang ako magkakabf ulit ng nakakaintindi. my point mas mahala sa akin ang RO kay sa bf. kasi istorbo lang sila madalas lalo na pag career man sila.

      Bakit ninyo sasabihan siya na go after the girl? For what? Malinaw nang di sila compatible at kulang ang feelings niya sa girl since mas importante sa kanya ang RO!

      His relationship with that girl doesn’t have any future!
      Kase kung love talaga niya yung girl, at love siya noong girl, RO won’t be a problem sa relationship nila.Both of them will learn to adjust and understand each other’s likes, dislikes and eccentricities.

      I believe na kung ang naging girlfriend noong e-mail sender ay yung right girl para sa kanya, yung love talaga niya at love talagasniya, he can still play RO and enjoy an IRL romance.

      Now what are the chance that you don’t know your pilot personally? Unless you are extremely stupid or extremely stupidly trusting you would never ever trust your account to someone you don’t trust especially to someone you don’t know personally.

      My point?

      -Kilala nya pilot nya. puntahan nya sa bahay nya kunin nya gamit nya dun.

      As for the girl.. leave her be she would be much more happier without you..

      As for the pilot.. you’re sick.. exchanging friendship for an online game..

      as for the girl, don’t judge him much because you have no idea on the status of their relationship. you don’t even know who the girl is. fact of the matter is you’re just going after the girl for the fucks. if he love ragnarok more than the girl it’s because he doesn’t get kicks from the girl. all the more reason to drop the girl.
