I just wanted to do some plugging for the casual games that Level Up is offering. The beauty about casual games is that they don’t require as much time as your average MMORPG. The great traits of a good casual game is that it shouldn’t take too long to play, easy-to-learn, but still difficult to master. It would also help if the casual game is relevant – something that is humorous and really fun for the user. For example, Crazy Kart, Level Up’s latest Casual Game, has a pinoy Jeepney which you can actually drive! For Be There, we’re partnering with local game developers to give you guys pinoy casual online flash-based games.

I’m pretty sure that majority of you will say “DOTA”. :heh:

I also got addicted to DOTA for a long time – and it took me months to break out of the habit. That’s actually another good trait of casual games. They’re not totally addictive. They are games that you play when you want to de-stress, unlike MMORPGs wherein you just get stressed. LOL. One of the games I really loved playing before was the now defunct Pangya. I can still remember doing hole-in-ones in Blue Lagoon.
