It looks like the Philippines is coming up with a new international Youtube sensation. After the phenomenal breaks of Charice Pempengco, Happy Slip, and Arnel Pineda, we now have Filipina Carmina Topacio. People are already talking about her in various forums and she’s also been the topic of discussion by several bloggers. Her videos have registered more than 120,000 hits and she already has a solid fan base. In her vids, Carmina does covers of songs and edits it smoothly with clips from some games.
Here’s one of her better performances singing Eyes on Me from Final Fantasy VIII.
If she stays the course and does more promotion, this girl will go far. Unlike other teen idols too, she actually can sing! Hahaha. 
How long do you think it will take before ABS CBN or GMA 7 contacts her to make a deal?

She is VERY PRETTY and she does have a pretty voice too although definitely not on the level of Charice but nontetheless she has a very good voice *Thumbs Up* most likely isn’t pure Filipino would hazard a guess that she is half Japanese judging from the eyes

I hope that neither of those two networks would acquire her, they would just destroy her. Look at Charice, it took Youtube for her to gain tons of attention and she was already affiliated with ABS-CBN back then.
I say let her continue making videos and let some other entity discover her.

She’s really really really pretty and talented. She has original songs, di siya gumawa nung lyrics pero she made the tune. Music Maker din ang batang to! She’ll definitely go far with that talent and beauty! And yes, I agree.. she looks Japanese! I wonder if she has Japanese blood?
