The Waukster Top Ragnarok Moments Blog Contest was a huge success - mainly because of the people who joined it. The memories they shared are really something that will remind you of your own journies in Rune-Midgard. As the person who initiated the contest, I feel like I owe them more than just the raffle and eventually awarding just one winner with the Merchant Saving Box. I’d like to invite all the readers of Waukster Online to visit their blogs as well and read their Top 3 Ragnarok Moments. Again, here are the final entries. To give you guys an idea of what they wrote, I’m going to put a quick summary of their entry beside their names.

Alchemist Bottle’s top Ragnarok Moment was a very sweet but unsure wedding proposal done in-game! But wait… the guy actually wanted to marry her IRL! Too bad she doesn’t expound on what actually happened afterwards, hehe.

ChesterBanting really caught me by surprise with his top Ragnarok Moment! He confesses that he played a Chiksilog character and he had a boyfriend of more than 1 Year. I wonder how his BF felt when he revealed that he was also a guy? Lol.

Mhuu relates that Ragnarok Online brought him and his brother closer. They were complete opposites until they finally bonded in Ragnarok Online. Because of their travels in Midgard, he was able to know his brother more and he saw him in a completely different light. I can honestly say that this happened to me as well, since I got to know my own older brother much better because of Ragnarok Online.

Sniper Angel shares a truly unique love story as his top Ragnarok Moment. It started in the message boards with him and her talking about the Biochemist class. It was a hard to fanthom that they would actually get together because he was in Chaos and she was in Fenrir. But love conquers all (Nyahahaha)! Sniper Angel has one of the best quotes ever - Love is like DoTA, it is unstoppable and dominating!

Crystal narrates how she was able to bring down Valkyrie Randgris together with her friends. I remember MVP’ing Orc Lord and Dark Lord countless times with my good friend Evangelos. I picked up so many Bloody Axes that I can’t remember anymore actually how many I got, hehe.

Raffle winner Nina Ricci shares how Ragnarok paved the way for her to meet her boyfriend. It started in PVP, then levelling, and then a few calls and EBs. The rest, as they say, is history.

Aethan Rafael recounts how he felt like that he was truly a legend when he was able to break emperiums and conquer his enemies. He also has a bonus section where he shares with everyone all the forum signatures he’s made over the years.

John Mamaril feels that his top moment for Ragnarok was when he joined the DOST Scholars guild. According to him, meeting new friends and sharing moments with them are simply priceless. I agree with him 100%. I felt the same way about my guild, the Shadow Circle.

Thor stalwart Desquallie showcases his headgear collection as his top Ragnarok Moment! I used to do the same thing especially in Beta when there were still only a few headgear. I have a feeling that trying to complete all the headgear these days will be too hard, hehe.

Ennui takes a stroll down memory lane and remembers how him being part of Thor’s community became his top Ragnarok Moment! The community really makes the game, not the other way around.

Polgara, one of the most famous female blacksmiths in Chaos, shares that joining the Armada guild was her top Ragnarok Moment. After being invited by Leic to the guild, she recounts how much more fun Ragnarok became for her. The game moved beyond virtual and into real life as the guild had several EBs and meet-ups.

Eljon’s Top Ragnarok Moment was a fierce battle in PVP involving his close friends and co-players in his shop. The battle lasted for hours and he literally spent millions on Mammonite! Being a Blacksmith myself, I can relate to you man. I also can’t remember how many millons of zenny I’ve already spent just in PVP. What more in WoE?

Raine, aka Winter Angel, describes her Ragnarok Top Moment as Virtual meeting the Real. She found someone that kept her company and someone that chased away her loneliness. It’s mushy as hell but love really conquers all, hehe.

Jami shares that his first time breaking an emperium during WoE was his top Ragnarok Moment. What’s funny here is that his character is a GC Crusader, lol.

Emman relates that Ragnarok Online is not just a game. Because of RO, he met his special friend and he shares this as his top Ragnarok Moment.

Nathaniel’s top Ragnarok Moment is his decision to continue playing Ragnarok Online. In fact he shares some of his projects, including a comic strip which is really something that you guy should check out. I’m already thinking of having a comic contest in the future, hehe.

RAM shares that his entire journey in Ragnarok Online as his top Ragnarok Moment. His entry was unique due to the narration style. It’s a definitely a good read!

Fellow guildmate Paris reveals that her top Ragnarok Moment was when she finally reached 99! It wasn’t just that though - it was the fact that she had people to celebrate with. I feel the same way as she does because when I turned 99, almost all the 13 guilds of the Shadow Circle were there as well. Truly one of the best moments in my Ragnarok career as well.

Ninchin shares that her top Ragnarok Moment was meeting her in-game identical twin and stalker. The guy goes on and says that he was a male version of her and he even copied her name and hair color! Creepy… but sweet.

Eikon shares that his top Ragnarok Moment was when he won the Ragnarok 2 Wallpaper Contest which I sponsored here at Waukster Online! It was really nice meeting you man and I hope you keeping joining future contests that I plan on running here at my blog!

Derek’s top Ragnarok Moment was meeting friends and sharing so much fun times with them. Derek was actually part of the cavalry guild of the Shadow Circle which we named the Shadow Circle Dragoons. He also shares with us his pictures with the guild in real life. I like the pics man! Hope you keep ‘em coming.

Thanks again to everyone who joined. It was really fun and I plan on doing more events like this in the future. In fact, I already said in a previous post that I’m already finalizing the mechanics of the next blog contest. I hope that more people will join the next one.
