I was just able to read Bleach Manga 357 a few minutes ago. I am now a certified fan of Barragan! I want to be in his Fraccion. Hahahaha! This guy rocks to the high heavens or er… the deepest hells. His resurrection is one of the meanest and baddest I’ve seen in the entire series of Bleach. Anyway, quick review and synopsis of Bleach Manga 357 after the break.
Bleach Manga 357 Review and Synopsis
Barragan, Espada of Death through Old Age, takes on Shinigami Captain Soifon. It’s revealed early on that whatever Barragan touches or is even near to him ages rapidly. While walking on the roof of the building that he was standing on, the roof literally crumbled and decayed away. He uses his first technique called “Death Breath” and the attack manages to score a hit on Soifon’s arm. That very arm literally turned into bone. Before it could spread, Soifon had Omaeda cut off her arm.
The story then goes to Toushiro and Halibel. Initially we see that Toushiro is able to defend against Halibel’s attacks because he’s able to use the water generated by Halibel as a weapon of his own by turning it into ice. However he’s in for a major surprise when Halibel reveals that she can also use fire elemental attacks.
At this point alone, you know already that the Shinigami will be hard pressed to defeat Barragan and Halibel. This might be time and place that the Vaizards finally make an entrance. The battle is already this intense and we haven’t even seen Stark’s resurrection yet or even Aizen, Gin, and Tousen!

Yep. I’d love to see how kick ass their bankais are. I can’t imagine how someone can top Barragan’s ability.

didnt espada number 10 get upgraded to number 0? and the captain with two swords and a hat is fighting espada number 1?
having temporal abilities obviously isn’t the deadliest ability. maybe soifon should use the wind to blow away the accursed blighted breath. death breath, sounds like a bad case of halitosis.

halibel didnt use fire. she just melted the ice.
kinda like saying,”you can freeze my water, i can melt your ice”
besides my prediction in this is that the visored(official spelling of vaizards) will come out and lay smackdown against the 3 former captains.
