Last week a lot of Bleach and Naruto fans were a bit disappointed since the writers skipped a week before releasing the next issue of the manga. They finally released the latest issue just a few minutes ago and it’s been uploaded on Onemanga. In the previous issue, we saw Halibel play around Shinigami Captain Hitsugaya. This issue picks up from where the previous one left off. What’s interesting here is that more information is revealed about the Espada and the true and terrifying powers of Barragan are shown.
Bleach Manga 356 Review
After cutting off Hitsugaya’s arm, Halibel turns her attention towards the old man Yamamoto. Before she’s able to attack, she’s forced to retreat as Hitsugaya launches a counter attack. Apparently the young captain has the ability to regenerate his arm. I’m not entirely sure about this since I can’t fully understand what technique he used. What matters is he’s still able to fight Halibel at full power.
We then move on to Barragan and his fight with Soifon. The shinigami captain is puzzled why each time she attacks, her body parts suddenly move slower when she’s about to connect with Barragan. The Espada then explains that each Espada represents reasons why a human would die. Just check out the screencaps below for the corresponding reason per Espada.
Barragan goes on to share that he represents “death by old age”, which means he has the ability to control time. He demonstrates this by touching Soifon’s shoulder, causing the bones and the arm to age rapidly. Soifon’s arm breaks and she quickly jumps back to get a hold of herself. Things take a turn for the worse when Barragan decides to release his Zanpaktou and he transforms into a kick ass undead creature – the Tyrant of Skulls.
Over-all I’m very happy with this issue. Lots of action! Hopefully the writers will focus on one fight first and end the Barragan-Soifon battle before moving on to the other captains. Lastly, I wonder when the Vaizards will make their appearance? It’s been ages since we last saw them.

napansin ko lang na lagi mo kasi sabi writers with regards to bleach and naruto. tig isa lang sila ng writer/mangaka. bleach = tite kubo and naruto = masashi kishimoto. FYI lang.
