Bleach Ep. 166 Review
Bleach, one of my favorite anime titles, released episode 166 last night and it was an amazing episode! It was 99% action as Ichigo, wearing his hollow mask, finally faced off against the Espada released form of Grimmjow. The battle was really intense, and it the animation and soundtrack was just superb. In fact, the quality of this episode was good enough for an OAV or a movie.
Episode 166 reveals how powerful the Espada really are - and how insanely good Ichigo becomes when he wears the Hollow Mask. It’s really amusing though that Grimmjow’s released form looks like a white hell cat. In this fight, Ichigo is able to keep the mask on for a longer period of time. In fact, he’s able to go toe-to-toe with Grimmjow’s released form.
However - did you guys notice that the only thing Ichigo knows how to do is that damned Getsuga Tensho? He has no other technique and even if you check the manga, that’s all he knows. I hope that the people behind Bleach will give him a new skill since the Black Getsuga is starting to get really old. It used to be a cool thing but since he keeps on using it every episode, it kinda looses it’s novelty.
In true Bleach fashion, the episode ends in a cliffhanger. Inoue starts to doubt if Ichigo really came to save her but Nel eventually jolts her back into reality. She cheers on Ichigo and this suddenly gives Ichigo +200% strength (LOL). Anyway, I suggest you guys watch the episode if you haven’t yet. This is really one of the best Bleach episodes I’ve watched.
Go Grimmjow! Can’t wait for the next freakin’ episode! w00t!

the latest arc in the manga seems interesting, even if it is considered filler chapters :)

They are showing the past lives of the Vizards/Exiled Shinigami in the manga and it’s not considered as filler chapters. Never heard or seen “filler chapters” in any manga before.
And about the anime, there are upcoming filler episodes which will feature events in SS I think since there is a filler episode which includes a new captain to the 3rd squad which resembles Kyouraku Shunsui.

ganda talaga episode 166 hahahah kahit 1/4 nalang ng mask ni ichigo suot nya laban pa rin hahahha….tapos ganda last words b4 nung ending hahahha….watch nyo nlng po ….sulit ang pagdownload ko d2 kagabi hahahha….just like as how mr wauks said it….its 99% action this time

ganda talga ng bleach.. paganda ng paganda lalo na tong episode 166.. 3 weeks nagpahinga ng pagpapalabas pero worth naman ung paghihintay..

Super aksyon talaga yung latest EP! Kaya lang, medyo nakulangan parin ako. Kasi parang typical pa rin yung fight scene, nageexpect ako ng mga bago. Grand Cero at yung walang kamatayang Getsuga Tensho lang ang nakita ko. Nakulangan ako sa creativity ng fight scene. Nag-expect ako ng mas detailed dahil sa anime lang nila mapapakita yun at hindi sa manga. Action-intensive talaga yung EP di tulad nung mga nakaraang araw, pero ‘Hack and Slash’ lang yung pinakita tapos puro usok. Hehe. Reminds me of Dragon Ball Z..
Pero overall, maganda na talaga ang episode na to kumpara sa mga nakaraang EP nila. Espada na kalaban eh! Astig talaga yung form ni Grimmjow! FTW!

I think sa mundo ng bleach normal lng ang one skill per Zanpaktou yung iba siguro nakakbuo ng dalawa o tatlo pero ang regular na skill ng isang zanpaktou ay iisa lng. Lahat naman halos di ba? I think ang marami lng iba ibang Skill sa Zanpaktoh ay si Byakuya pero even then basically the same parin yung tech nya mejo nirevise nya lng. Kaya eto na lang ang reklamo ko.. Sana matuto ng Kidou si Ichigo wahaha. Ay meron pa pala isa parang naging mahina na yung Bankai ni Ichigo? Hindi na sya super speed dati yung pinapakita nyang speed pag nakapag Bankai sya ay equal sa speed na pinapakita nya lng ngayon pag naka hollow form sya. Anyone Noticed?

anybody know who are 1,2,3 ranked espada? ulquiora is 4 and grimjow is only 6 my curiosity is killing me

#1 is stark, its the lazy,long brown haired, pretty boy, that you only see twice so far, u see him once, right before we stop seeing Chad
