Asiasoft to Launch Ragnarok 2 Q1 2008

Gamers in Singapore and Malaysia will be able to play Ragnarok Online 2: Gate of the World sometime within the first 3 months of 2008. This was revealed in a press release a few months ago by Asiasoft and Gravity at the Asia Games Convention. I’ve been getting a lot of updates on the development progress of Ragnarok Online 2 and it looks like the game is really shaping up to be much better when we first tried it several months ago.

Here are some of the changes that they’ve made for Ragnarok Online 2:

- Increase the current LV50 restriction to LV100.
- The lowest CXP gained by hunting mobs which are 5 or more levels lower than players is 25% of the common CXP.
- Strengthen the abilities of mobs. Combat time is increased. However, we get more compensation from the mobs
- Abilities upgrade brought by the upgrade of JLV has been deleted, it is no longer applied.
- Character’s initialized stats changed as well as the stats points given by every level up.
( New character will have STR5 DEX3 CON3 INT2)
- 2 settled stats points will be given every CLV up;
- MHP will be regularly increased with the upgrade of CLV.
- The natural HP recover quantity has been cut down with a huge amount. Instead potions are selling in all maps.
- MSP will be fixed in 100 or so. (Except Enchanter)
- Adjust the natural SP recover quantity. 35% of MSP will be recovered every 4 seconds.
- Adjust the skill SP consumption.
- Combat operation is officially changed to be decided by the status & abilities.
- Instant transportion in all towns has been available. The transportion NPCs are distributed in all the main regions, and you need to pay a fee to use instant transportion.
- Improve the combat values displaying method. Beneficial values are shown in White color while disbeneficial values in Red color.
- Some of the NPC(mobs) AI have been improved.
- Stats points will not be reset when changing job, so more careness is needed when adding the stats points.
- Some previous unapplied skills have been applied, which makes the combat more smoothly.
- Balance adjustment: change the attributes of current green items and quest items.
- Balance adjustment: adjust some skills effects.

They’ve also added new maps, monsters, and quests. Now all they have to do is to work on the two other races and the Ragnarok 2 War of Emperium and we’re all good to go, hehe.

  14. I think hindi papatok RO2 as RO1 did.
    nasubukan ko na nung kRO2 OB pa.
    Ang malufet pa eh bago pa lumabas ung sa japan may lumabas ng private server… To be honest I tried it also and you know what na fix nila ung some bugs sa kRO2.
    Tapos sabi mo pa Kuya Wauks nung last year pa malapit na ilabas RO2 dito sa pinas… eh anung nangyari sa cnbi mo?
    Sa bagay hindi naman kita masisisi kac maxadong hot na hot ang Gravity na iannounce ang Ro2 since 2005 pa eh hanggang ngaun hindi pa rin stable ang kanilang system
