Anime Review: Gundam 00
I haven’t been posting any anime updates lately mainly because I haven’t been able to watch the latest episodes of Naruto Shippuuden and Bleach. I found the pace too slow and I lost interest in pursuing the story line. I did post about D. Gray-man a few weeks ago. For today, I’d like to post about a new title that has really got me hooked - GUNDAM 00! In all honesty, Gundam 00 is one of the best anime titles I’ve ever come across for the past few years. It has a very exciting and deep story line which can easily draw you in and keep you there even after you’ve watched the episode. Combine that with the kick-ass fight sequences and you’ve got a smash hit on your hands!

So what makes it damn good?
Like what I said above - the story and the fight scenes are great. The plot revolves around the earth in the future. The world is divided into factions and they are constantly at war. The Gundams are deployed by an organization called “Celestial Being” and they basically go around the world blowing all the war advocates up hoping to unite the entire world against them so there wouldn’t be any need for war anymore.
Each Gundam has it’s own special ability. There’s a melee-based Gundam that uses swords. The other types are Sniper, Heavy Artillery, and a Jet type Gundam similar to Macross. Each gundam also has their own share of weaknesses. For example, the Heavy Artillery type is tough and fires a huge cannon but it moves so slow. The Jet-type is fast and agile but it’s easily damaged.
I strongly recommend that you guys watch this one. It’s definitely worth your money or er… download time. ^^;

its available at crunchyroll.com, its great, it’s really exciting trying to wait for the new episodes, since it is aired at japan every saturday at 6pm, by monday its already subbed and uploaded.

Hope the emergency maintenance of removing the two boss cards this coming monday @2pm should be move in the maintenance day (Wed) cause this would be an oppurtunity for the one’s that duplicate to do it again.

Gundam 00 is one the Gundam best meta-series. Looking those four mobile suits by celestial being, reminds me of Wing zero of Gundam Wing.

spoiler: ever wonder why gundam 4’s missing from the list? =P coz gundam virtue ‘houses’ another gundam. once it ‘purges’ its armor, it reveals a ‘female’ gundam they call nadleeh. ^^ the episode where nadleeh is first revealed is pretty cool. i think that ep.10 or 11. you’ve gotta see that. =p

Maganda yan kaso up to episode 25 lang daw first season nyan tapos cut muna.. Currently have 14 episodes new episodes are aired every saturday the subbed versions normally goes out at monday afternoon. Para sa akin so far eto ang Gundam series na may pinakamagandang first 14 episodes. Ang gusto ko dito weakling yung mga pilots ng GUNDAM kahit na super lakas ng mga GUNDAM nila kaya nakakhanap pa rin sila ng mga katapat like Graham Acre who is freaking skilled. Nuod na kayo wahaha

Gundam Wing parin.. kumpleto ko kasi HG figures nun except for the Serpent Custom kaya bias ako.. ahahaha.. may MG grade na Wing Zero Custom din ako.. next na sana ay yung Perfect Grade na Wing Zerp Custom.. /e2

walang sinabe ang gundam sa ganda ng graphics n2,… ewan ko lng kung maganda ba story kc epsiode 1 plang nilabas, the next episode will be aired on april pa ata, im not sure…

I think it is indeed an adaptation of Gundam Wing. The series got exciting again with Episode 15.
Yes, I enjoyed Macross Frontier 1. Parang ang tagal nga lang ng next episode.

i adore the artist of gundam 00.
most of the gundam series are always too political.
in my opinion, nothing will ever beat the gundam wing series XD

kakatapos ko lang mapanood ang episode 22… this is the episode where all the celestial beings’ gumdams are activated with a new system… and this is the episode where johan and mikhael of the trinity gundams die… i was never a fan of the gundam series kasi super boring but gundam-00 changed my opinion of the gundam franchise… although seed and destiny was shown in philippine tv last year and still running in s23 but it’s not the same compared to 00… sinubukan ko din panoorin ang wing but umpisa palang ng series super bored na ako… andaming butas sa storyline… some of you may disagree but as an anime fan who grew up from the 80’s anime up to now… this is by far the best mecha series i have ever seen dahil maganda yung balance ng series ( good storyline which is easier to understand and digest… good character development and backgrounds and fast paced action sequences)…

i have finished watching the series, and i’m really looking forward to the upcoming 2nd season of gundam 00.
