Anime Guitar Covers: Kurikinton Fox does Evangelion
Neon Genesis Evangelion still remains to be one of my favorite anime series even if I really didn’t understand the ending and most of the animation sequences were non-moving characters with tons of talk. Remember Gendo giving 3-5 minute speeches while both of his hands covered his mouth? I don’t know why but I was really drawn into the story and world of Evangelion, and I’m pretty sure that a lot of the anime fans in the Philippines were also captivated by the characters, namely: Shinji, Asuka, and of course - Ayanami Rei. Hmmm… I should hold a contest wherein people can submit their theories on what really happened at the end, Lol.
Anyway, I found a video on Youtube by the popular guitar player KURIKINTON FOX. He covers popular anime and game titles with his guitar (both bass and lead). To make things more interesting, he wears a fox mask while playing… which is his way of saying he’s cool, hehe. Watch the video of him covering the Neon Genesis Evangelion intro song after the jump.

napanood ko din yang evangelion hindi ko rin naintindiyan ung ending naging magkapaid ba sila ni rei ayanami at shinji akari tapos naguusap usap silang lahat bigla….

I know I’ve watched Evangelion but couldnt really remember its story… Oh well, panoorin nlng ulit, Heroic Age is somewhat like Evangelionl, organic robots with monstrous powers @wauks OT: paano ginawa yan emote na yan d2, like /heh /omg etc

Ako dati ung pnpalabas ung evangelion s local channel pnpanood k lang dun c asuka,rei, ska ung parang instructor ni shinji tapos dun pa sya tumira s hus nya for some time. Damn(Hina ni shinji)! Pero ung story d k tlga magets masnagets ko ung Dual parang Evangelion din pero may halong humor s evangelion parang seryoso msyado.

According to news magkakaroon raw ng 4 episode remake ang evangelion at ilalabas raw ng maaga si Kaoru Nagisa or something like that. Gagawan rin ng mas conclusive na ending at remake rin ng ibang story line… still waiting for it and the season 2 of melancholy of haruhi suzumiya…

shocks.. asteg… napapakanta tuloy ako… the title of the song is Zanzoku na teshi no these or Cruel Angel Thesis the openning for Neon Genesis Evangelion.. if you want similar story of NGE with an awesome god-like mecha, psychotic characters try RahXephon hehe’ OST is really asteg too..
