Waukster Online is the personal blog of Carlo “Wauks” Ople, Ragnarok Online Brand Manager for Level-up Games Incorporated. The main purpose of the blog is to serve as a community hub not just for Ragnarok Online players, but for all Level-up Gamers. The blog also aims to connect the management of Level-up to the players and to involve the community in the decision making process of major projects and programs. Level-up WTF Moments
These are surprising or shocking moments in Level-up that the community rarely sees. We can also consider them as bloopers, just like what we see in the ending credits of Jacky Chan movies.
Level-up Yosi Break Sessions
Basically this section is filled with Level-up employee interviews. The term “Yosi Break” was used because this is what a lot of LU people do to relax and unwind after a long day of work. Notable people featured in this section are LU COO Sheila Paul, FlyFF Community Manager Wudie “Atma” Morales, and LU Game Support Head Marc “Garamond” Reyes.
Philippine Ragnarok Online
Be part of the decision making process by participating in the discussions about pRO at Waukster Online. This blog primarily talks about the upcoming changes of pRO and we want to inolve the community as much as possible. The hot topic these days is the Server Merge which is scheduled to take place this April 25, 2007. Waukster Online will also give tidbits and teasers of Ragnarok Online 2: Gate of the World, the most anticipated game in the country.
Gamer Interviews
Of course Waukster Online wouldn’t be complete without Gamer Interviews. This is one of my favorite sections because I get up close and personal with the most popular gamers in the Philippines today. I’ve already had the pleasure of talking with Alliance Guild Leader makmak641 and even one of my fierce rivals before, BerzerkerCrits.
WWE, COSPLAY, and More!
The blog also talks about other topics close to a gamer’s heart - Cosplaying, Wrestling, and of course other games and related hobbies. One of the most popular sections is Cosplaying so you might want to visit and check the pictures out if you have free time.
