This afternoon, several web banners and an announcement calling asking for heroes was posted on all websites of all the games being published by Level Up Games. People have been asking me if this is a new game to be published by Level Up, or maybe a new promotion? I won’t talk about it in detail but this is basically a campaign that aims to turn gamers in to cyber athletes, and online gaming to e-sports. At the end of the announcement, the url www.gameheroes.ph was posted. Bookmark it because believe me when I say that when it launches, you’ll find yourself going there again, and again, and again. You’ll see more of Game Heroes in the coming days. Here’s the exact quote of the announcement that was posted:

The drums of war beat wildly into the night. The dark skies light up as armies raise their weapons and shout their battle cries. In this time of conflict, despair, and trial – legends will be made, immortals will rise, and heroes will be born. Historians will write about their deeds and bards will sing of their glory.

From the Asgardian realm of Midgard, the war-torn continent of Pangu, the harsh deserts of Novus, the hard courts of Freestyle, and the vast islands of Rokia…
